I stayed with them until I turned eighteen and rented an apartment. Jane and I put together a center for runaway or abused children that have been taken in by the police or found it while running away. Nicola and my dad still live together in their old age, and they are our biggest supporters. I did learn to play saxophone and I teach music classes at the center. My brother is older and can handle himself better now. I have been able to get his number and we talk all the time. He finally forgave me for what I made my "dad" do in his eyes. My "grandma" visits the center often and she has really been a grandmother for those kids also. My "dad" is still in jail and he probably will stay there for another twenty years. My mom and me still aren't on speaking terms but she allows me to talk to Marc.
Jane ended up getting married to her high school sweetheart and she is hoping to have kids soon. I am still on my own and I doubt I'll ever find a spouse. Everyone is very happy in their positions, except for my "dad" David Morris.
