Chapter Eighteen
Chloe's POV

Luke and I climb out of the shower and I wrap a towel around my body.

Luke dries himself off before wrapping a towel around his waist.

I walk into our closet and grab an oversized shirt slipping it on before pulling some underwear on.

Luke walks in and puts on a clean pair of boxers.

I waddle over to the bed and climb into it.

Luke climbs into it a couple minutes later pulling the sheets over our bodies.

He kisses my forehead before we both drift off to sleep.

*1 Month Later*

I smile as I hear the front door shut.

A baby lets out a squeal.

Footsteps get louder before the bedroom door opens.

"We missed you bitch!" Lucy says.

"How many times do I have to say this! No fucking swearing! Especially in front of Cece!" Ashlyn says.

"One more month!" Melanie says.

"Can't wait" I groan.

I'm now eight months pregnant.

Hopefully in 1 more month I'll pop this baby out.

"Where's Luke?" Lucy asks.

"Office, on a p-phone call w-with the guys" I say.

Lucy nods.

"About Derpcon #2?" she asks.

"Y-Yeah and about new album" I reply.

They nod.

"So I got the lyrics you messaged me" Melanie says.

"I showed them to the girls and words just spilled from us! We wrote a song and made what you wrote the chorus" Melanie adds.

"Really?" I ask with a smile on my face.

They all nod excitedly.

I smile even wider. I'm so happy I could be useful, I've been feeling useless ever since I was put on bed rest.

"Sing it t-to me!" I say.

Lucy pulls a couple sheets of paper out of her bag and hands them to me.

It's the lyrics and chords for bass.

Melanie grabs her guitar and begins to strum.

"You sing the highlighted parts, we all sing the chorus" Ashlyn says.

I nod.

"My boyfriends bitchin' cause I always sleep in
He's always screaming when he's calling his friends
He's kinda hot though

"Just a itty bitty little bit hot" Ashlyn says.

"My shrink is telling me I-I got crazy dreams
He's also saying I-I got low self-esteem

"He put me on meds
He won't g-get out of my head

"My friend left college cause it felt like a job
Her mom and dad both think she's a slob
She's got a shot though" Lucy sings.

"No not really" Ashlyn says.

"Yeah she's got a shot though" Lucy sings.

"When you've got bigger plans that know one else understands you've got a shot though" Lucy sings.

"Wow that's a big plan you've got there" Ashlyn says.

My neighbor told me that I got bad brains,

"Love it!" I smile.

"Once you're off bed rest we'll record it!!" Lucy smiles.

"So probably at like the end of June, give her some time in May and June to recover"

*2 Weeks Later*
Luke's POV

"Yes Ashton I understand, we'll do it in September" I say.

"I know" I say reply.

Zoella lets out a cry and I sigh.

"Look Ash I gotta go" I say.

"Yes we'll talk later"

"Okay, Ashton I have to go"

"Goodbye"

I hang up the Skype call and walk out of the office heading downstairs.

I walk down the hall and up the stairs to Zoella's nursery.

"Chloe! What are you doing!?" I ask upset.

She turns to face me.

"M'fine Luke" she says.

"You need to stay in bed!" I say.

Chloe sighs.

"Do y-you know how boring it is t-to stay in bed all day!" She yells.

"I want to h-help!" she says.

I frown.

"Okay" I say.

"Also the people finished Arielle's nursery yesterday, do you want to see it?" I ask.

"Yes!" Chloe squeals.

I smile and she follows me to the room across from ours. I open the door and step aside.

"It's beautiful Luke!" Chloe smiles.

We turned the small playroom that was up here into Arielle's nursery.
