CHAPTER 50 - WHAT?

3RD PERSON'S POV

"CHAIIRA!!! NOO!!!" Sigaw ni Max. Tinamaan... Tinamaan ang likod ng ulo ni Chaiira! TINAMAAN!

Agad na tumakbo si Max mula sa kinatatayuan niya. Ibinabalewala ang duming didikit sa mamahaling damit.

Marahan niyang hinawakan ang ulo ni Chaiira at ipinatong sa hita niya. Nakapikit ang mga mata nito at hindi mo maipagkakaila na nawalan ito ng malay.

"Chaii, wake up. Please! Wake up..."

Pagmamakaawa ni Max. Mangiyak-ngiyak ito dahil sa kalagayan ni Chaiira ngayon.

Tinignan niya ang pulso nito mula sa wrist niya. Napagtanto niya na buhay pa ito at pwede pang magpang-abot.

"TULONG! TULONG!" Sigaw ni Max upang makuha ang atensyon ng mga taong nasa paligid niya.

Meanwhile...

Poot, galit, at pagtataka ang makikita sa mata ni River. Inis niyang iniwasan ang kababatang si Renesmee na nagpakilalang RP sa kaibigang si Chaiira.

"R-River. L-let me explain---" Hindi natapos ni Renesmee ang sasabihin nang inunahan siyang magsalita ni River.

"There's nothing to be explained. I just saw the REAL YOU." Sabi niya nang nakaharap ang likod kay Renesmee. Ayaw niyang tignan ang babae dahil baka maawa siya sa kanya.

"No! You d-don't understand!" Sigaw ni Renesmee kay River. "You don't." Ulit ni Renesmee.

"No! I've seen enough. I don't want to see the other you anymore. It makes me think that I've loved the person who I think was the REAL her." Nanlaki ang mata ni Renesmee ng marinig niya iyon. Minahal din siya? Ng taong mahal niya?

OO DAW! Napangiti sa loob-looban si Renesmee. Ngunit nang maalala na makukulong siya dahil sa ginawa ay nanghinayang siya.

"I should've been blind. I should've just waited for him to confess. I should've thought of the consequences. Anger got me so dang!" Bulong niya sa sarili.

"TULONG! TULONG!" Nalipat ang tingin ng lahat sa sumisigaw na si Max.

Nakasunod ang pulis at ambulansya sakanila nang dumating sila sa lugar. Agad na rumesponde ang mga tao upang matulungan sila.

MAX'S POV

The reason why we got in that place was because of Chaiira's friend, River.

He kept on contacting the woman but it wasn't answering. And, when we got Mysty, we asked her why Chaiira isn't with her is because someone saved her.

She said, it had a blonde hair and it looked like an American, when River heard about this, he thought of her childhood friend, Renesmee.

He doubted, yet he still helped. He had a tracking app, so you can track the person using it's phone.

Renesmee wasn't answering the phone and so he tracked it using his phone. Me and River kept track and she stopped here.

We just saw them shouting with each other and whatsoever.

We contacted the ambulance near the place and we also contacted the police whom we reported to. So they came with us.

And now, I'm currently contacting Tita Charlotte, Clarisse, Ethan and Ice so they could spread this to all her closest friends and go in this hospital.

After some while, I saw familiar silhouttes walking towards my direction. Ethan with her sister, Sydney and her fiancee, Dylan.

"Hey, Bro!" Ethan greeted me. I just nodded as response. I'm not in the mood to smile, especially the girl whom I love the most is having her hardest time right now.

"Asan si Ate Chaiira?" Sydney asked, full of question in her mind.

"She's still in the ER." I answered her with a frown. When will we finish this trial? Why is He being so hard on us? Is it because of me? Then, I'll do everything to change my old self and be new.

I'll do everything so He could forgive me.

"She'll survive." I got shocked when someone suddenly talked behind Sydney. Dylan patted my back. "I know she will." I answered back with confidence. Will she?

"Excuse me. Are you Ms. Pendleton's boyfriend?" My eyes went big when the doctor asked me that. I don't know what to answer.

"Maybe... Yes." The first answer was just a whisper but the next one was said with confidence.

"Ms. Pendleton is...

in a COMA." I wanted to faint after hearing the doctor say those words. "But, she has a big chance of living. Natamaan ng sobra yung ulo niya and it may cause severe damage, but we handled it already." Oh thank goodness!

"You can now see her. She's in the private hospital room. Room 402." I thanked him. He went away after telling us the news.

We went to her room and stayed there for a while. After some minutes, Tita Charlotte, Ice and Clarisse came.

I told them the not-so-good news and the bad news.

They were surprised but their hopes won't just lose up.

I know you'll be okay, my crazy girl. My Chaiira.
