CHAPTER 24 - SCANDAL

MAX'S POV

I paused for a while. I looked at my phone, waiting for it to ring because I know anytime soon, my PI will be calling.

A moment later, I heard my phone ring, and I answered it without hesitation.

"Is everything done?" I asked him in an authorized tone.

[Yes...] He answered firmly.

"Okay." I nodded before pressing the end call button. I stood up from my chair, and looked at the view from afar.

You'll be dead meat. I promise you that.

CHAIIRA'S POV

Mabilis akong naibaba ni Ethan sa bahay. Kumbaga, pagkatapos namin kumain, inuwi niya rin ako kaagad. Inaantok na rin kasi siya at masyado na akong naging sagabal sakanya kaya hinayaan ko na rin siya umuwi.

I sighed. Gumaan yung loob ko, huh? Kahit 'di ko masyadong close 'yon, nagpapasalamat pa rin ako dahil may nakausap akong katulad niya. I can tell that he's actually a good listener. It was wrong of me to accuse him of having the same attitude as Max's. I'm guilty as charged.

I exhaled another breath. Gusto ko na matulog pero 'di pa magawang pumikit ng mata ko. Ano bang magandang gawin? Makapag-open na nga lang ng facebook. I'm bored.

May napansin akong friend requests. Four friend requests?! Sino naman 'tong mga 'to?

Pinindot ko yung icon na para sa mga friend requests and I saw the people trying to add my account to their friendlist.

I looked at their pictures and names thoroughly. At saka na rin yung mutual friends nila kasi mas maganda nang maigi. Mamaya ma-cyberbully ako or what, diba?

I pressed confirm to those four since kilala ko naman silang lahat. Jenny Silva is from my Trigonometry class. Then, Ethan and Ice are my friends. Si Max lang yung acquaintance ko. I won't consider him as my friend since he has done a lot of bad things to me, and I think I won't be able to forget everything.

Minutes after I accepted their requests, something on the lower left corner of my screen popped up, saying:

⭕ Max Porsche updated his status: "Kung sino man...."

Oh nice. I noticed that the post came from the one and only special guy in the campus who treats everyone harshly because I don't know what his problem is, Mr. Maximilian Porsche.

Ano naman kaya ang ni-post nito at parang gigil na gigil siya?

I pressed on the notification bubble to see the post. In a fraction of time, nakita ko na yung kabuuhan ng post niya.

Kung sino man ang nag post ng picture at naglagay ng caption dun sa may bulletin board ng school, I will fucking kill you. I. AM. DEAD. SERIOUS. You'll be a fucking dead meat.
