Shen Qingqiu woke up, feeling that something was very off. He could tell right away that he wasn't on Qing Jing Peak and when he opened his eyes, his suspicion was proven correctly. Not only was he not at home, around him were people he did not recognize right away.

Instinctively, Shen Qingqiu tried to feel for his sword. About a moment later, the man closest to him fell into his view. Despite the beard, dirt and messy hair, Shen Qingiqu would never not recognize this face even if it turned to ashes. But the way Yue Qingyuan looked truly startled him.

"Zhangmen-shixiong, what in the– AHH!"

Then his eyes fell on Su Binghe. Of course Shen Qingqiu noticed the tiny red mark on the young man's forehead right away. Even more of a reason to crave for his sword. What was a demon doing here?! Why was Yue Qingyuan not doing anything?!

"Yue Qingyuan! There is a demon! Where is my sword?!" Shen Qingqiu exclaimed.

"Binghe, perhaps you should go and get changed. Leave this to me. And wash up a little too," Yue Qingyuan offered the startled young man.

Su Binghe threw another glance at Shen Qingqiu, before nodding solemnly. He had also figured out what was going on and he could only imagine how Yue Qingyuan was feeling now. It had been a year and Shen Qingqiu was at this point in time with his memories... The husband Yue Qingyuan had hoped to bring back was the one he had been all sweet and loving with and instead he was faced with the man he had had a falling out with. And Yue Qingyuan looked strangely tired all of a sudden.

"Yue Qingyuan?!" Shen Qingqiu looked as if the other man had completely lost it. What in the world was going on.

"That young man is one of your disciples...Qingqiu," Yue Qingyuan informed. His heart felt like a boulder in his chest speaking this name when another lay on his tongue. But he didn't want to hear Shen Qingqiu protest. He did not want to hear him get angry at hearing it.

"Are you joking?" Shen Qingqiu asked, visibly disturbed. But then again, Yue Qingyuan didn't look like he was joking. It was obvious that things were not normal. Firstly, Yue Qingyuan looked... Shen Qingqiu couldn't even find the words.

The man just sat there, half naked, very hairy and even more dirty. Someone may well have dragged him out of some alleyway and placed him into this luxurious bedroom, which, as Shen Qingqiu noted only now, was Yue Qingyuan's own where Shen Qingqiu lay on the bed. Seeing Yue Qingyuan in such a state was startling enough to make Shen Qingqiu question a lot of things.

Where had the arrogant and always well dressed Yue Qingyuan gone? What had happened? And why was there a beard in his face?!

"A lot has happened," Yue Qingyuan explained, stating the obvious. He endured Shen Qingqiu's piercing gaze for a while longer before he couldn't take it anymore "I... I need a moment. Perhaps Mu-shidi should bring you up to date," Yue Qingyuan said, getting up before anyone could say something.

Shen Qingqiu followed the man with his eyes, trailing the muscular arms that were full of scratches and holes where Yue Qingyuan had clearly wounded himself. Now as he left, one hand was scratching at an unwounded patch of skin again.

"Mu Qingfang," Shen Qingqiu said, frowning deeply enough to make one worry that the crease between his brows would end up staying.

"Hm... I assume the last date you remember should be..." Mu Qingfang thought for a moment before stating a year.

Shen Qingqiu nodded.

Mu Qingfang wasn't sure what he should say. Some things were Yue Qingyuan's to say, but a recap he could give.
