In a dimly lit cavern there stood two men. One of them, a little older than the other, stretched himself by the bank of the spiritual lake that lay still in the calming shine of the moon. It was such a relaxing sight to see. It had been too long.
"My Lord, do you not wish to get dressed?" the younger man asked, visibly uncomfortable with the older man's severe state of undress, or simply put, nakedness.
"Ah, leave it be, kiddo. Later, later..." the older man said. For now he really just wished to enjoy some moments of peace in this place.
After a very short while, as it was his nature, he got quite bored. This, he started looking himself over to take note of the state of his body. At a particular part, he frowned.
"You could have made it bigger," he noted.
"No, My Lord," the younger man returned determinedly, "My Lord's phallus already has a mentionable size, it need not increase."
The older man made a bored noise and flicked his fingers. "Whatever. Pass me my robes, kid," he said.
Upon leaving the caves, the older man looked towards the sky and sighed. It had been so long since he had felt the breeze on his skin. And this clear air... He had almost forgotten how it tasted. For a moment he closed his eyes to just enjoy it.
Suddenly the younger man spoke up. "My Lord," he said, waiting for the other to open his eyes before he pointed over at a youth standing beside the entrance to the caves.
When the older man looked at him, the kid grew amusingly nervous. He didn't even know how to greet and just clumsily saluted.
"Do you know who I am, child?" the older man asked curiously. With how much respect he was getting, he found it almost unlikely.
Still the youth nodded. "The esteemed guest of Cang Qiong Mountain Sect, Tianlang-jun," he replied.
Tianlang-jun couldn't help but be surprised. He smiled. This was somewhat nice. That a human would regard him so highly. And the youth didn't even seem afraid.
"Were you sent to guard me?" Tianlang-jun inquired.
"I was to guard the cave. No one was to disturb Zhuzhi," the youth answered proudly. Only he and another disciple had been told what was going on in the Long Xi Caves. This was such a huge honor. "Speaking of. Where..." he trailed off as he thought about it again. The young man next to Tianlang-jun was a bit odd. There had only been two outsiders here. Tianlang-jun and Zhuzhi. But Zhuzhi was a snake-man-demon. This was just a man. But his eyes... "Oh, so that's you!"
"That is correct, young benefactor," Zhuzhi-lang replied.
"Zhuzhi? Hahahaha!" Tianlang-jun laughed heartily, "That I live to see the day you made friends."
Zhuzhi-lang looked a bit uncomfortable. He wasn't sure if 'friends' was the right word. He had the feeling that some of these youths thought of him like a pet rather than a friend. They hadn't even known he was a person. They had just thought he was a more intelligent beast, very loyal to its master. But at least those children had been very kind to him.
The youth also seemed to recall how he had previously often pet this man's head, calling him cute even as he looked at this creature that so many called ugly. He had genuinely thought him cute. But he had also had pet toads as a young child.
"I didn't know you were a man, Zhuzhi," the youth said in a tiny voice.
"Don't worry. You aren't the only one. He doesn't even know himself," Tianlang-jun joked. When there was no reaction from either of the other two, Tianlang-jun nudged his nephew. "Come on, Zhuzhi-lang. You are allowed to laugh a little."
