The light up ahead turned red, and I felt the car slow down.
I sent Nina a panicked look.
"Why are you slowing down?!"
She remained focused on the road.
"I can't run a red light!"
I stared at her in disbelief.
"Nina this is a chase you have to run the light!"
She shook her head furiously.
"I can't its illegal!"
I grit my teeth.
"If you stop at this light, you might as well have let them get us back there!"
"It will take my picture!"
"Then hide your face!"
"I can't hide my face! I'm driving!"
"Run the light!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"I can't!"
"Oh yes you can!"
Leaning over I smacked my hand onto her leg and pressed down on the gas. The car jolted forward and we passed the light. I checked behind us and saw the car gaining on us, I could see the man's hard face with a sickly smirk on it. My heart thudded in my ears, everything seemed silent with only the echo of my uneasy heart filling the air.
