{Chapter 22.}
Lydia:
It was all of us sitting quietly in the main room. Grace was about to announce her big solution to how we should kill Klaus. Tyler, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, Damon and I were waiting patiently.
" What do you think we should do Grace?" Stefan looked curious.
" Why don't we call him over?" Grace glanced at all of us with a face of satisfaction. "We lure him over here to think that I'm oblivious and that we'll sacrifice myself instead of Lydia. He comes over to take me but, as he does - Elijah tackles him and the rest of you viciously gouge him with a special stake."
" Elaborate." I requested, unamused.
" All of you guys act scared and tired of him then I act as though I'm completely lost and helpless. This will give him the impression that I'm being sacrificed because of you guys then he'll think he's invincible- we kill him as he's filled with cockiness and he dies." Grace shrugged as if it was as easy as it sounded.
There was a moment of silence through the room, as if everyone thought the plan was trash.
" That's actually not bad." Tyler nodded his head.
" It sounds okay to me." Jeremy agreed.
" I suppose it's good too." Caroline said with a sigh.
" It's very well thought out, it's just if he believes us." Bonnie smiled weakly.
" The plan seems okay. It's basic psychology: we wave bait, he comes to get it." Stefan shrugged.
" There's only one problem for you airheads ..." Damon smirked. "This is Klaus that we're talking about. If we lure him openly then he won't show up. We've gotta pretend to do everything down low, that way he'll think that we're keeping secrets when we're not."
" I agree." I protested. "I bet that Klaus won't be satisfied. Besides, we'll need a plan b knowing the way things go around here."
Just as I had finished my sentence, there was a knock on the door. I looked at Damon and he went to go get it. There was a second before he came back with Matt following him. That was one less person to worry about especially after Alec had gone bloodlust.
Elena:
I couldn't believe the amount of bloody bodies that were toppled over each other in the gym storage room. This couldn't have been Alec, it just couldn't have. He wasn't a ripper, he couldn't be.
" Oh my God." I covered my mouth in horror.
" Alright, now I told you that you weren't going to be very proud of it." Alec shrugged and closed the storage room doors.
" What have you done?" I asked in disbelief. My mind was booming. "Alec, this is crazy! You already exposed yourself at the Founders day ball and now this!? Everyone in town will know that you're the murderer!" I exclaimed, pacing back and forth.
" I wouldn't stress about it. I think that Sheriff Forbes is oblivious to vampirism- considering that she doesn't know a thing about her daughter." He chuckled. "So don't think about it Elena just calm down, no one cares anyway." Alec tried to put his hands on my shoulder but I pushed him away.
" Stop it, don't touch me. What is the matter with you!?" My question hung in the air but, he stood there emotionless.
" I'm alright, it's just you." He claimed.
" Oh no." I shook my head and took hold of his face. "You turned them off, didn't you?"
His empty response had answered my question.
