{Chapter 8.}

Lydia:

"Klaus?" I asked confused. "Who's Klaus."

" He's dangerous." Bonnie shook her head trying to brush it off.

" No, tell me who he is, please." I begged.

" I can't do the spell anymore, I know it won't work if he's here." She said, placing two fingers by her temple.

" Who is he? Why are you so afraid?" I asked.

" Let's get back to the grill." Her hand grasped my arm and we ran back to the grill.

" Wait, what's going on?" I asked, she ignored my question.

As we ran across the empty street and straight into Mystic Grill. Bonnie lead me straight to the group again by the booth in the corner. Caroline, Jeremy and Elena faced us with confused faces.

" Back already?" Jeremy asked.

" No, there's something wrong." Bonnie said nearly out of breath.

" What happened?" He questioned.

" I saw Klaus." Bonnie murmured.

" You what!?" Caroline exclaimed before covering her mouth.

" Is he here!?" Elena asked looking scared.

" Him again?" Jeremy asked with a frown.

Everyone seemed to be freaked out with wide eyes and shocked faces but, I still had no idea who this Klaus guy was and why everyone was so scared of him.

" Who is Klaus?" I asked with frustration.

" Let's get out of here, we need to go somewhere ... confidential." Elena put a hand on my shoulder.

One second we were all in the grill and the next we were on the East side of Mystic Falls. This was the place Stefan had showed me. It was dark outside but, there was moonlight. We gathered in a circle all of us darting looks between each other. They were confused and scared, you could practically smell it but, I was still curious.

" Is this where you all call confidential?" I asked with a sarcastic tone. Elena gave me a look.

" Klaus is one of the original vampires." Caroline explained with a sigh.

" What's wrong with him?" I asked.

" He's an evil bastard." Jeremy shook his head.

" What he means is that Klaus likes killing and hurting innocent people." Said Bonnie.

" He's a vampire werewolf hybrid. He even used me for the sacrifice to verify himself." Elena huffed, crossing her arms.

" That sounds horrible." Was all I could say for the lack of information they gave me.

" Could you tell if he was in town?" Caroline asked.

" Definitely." Bonnie replied holding onto Jeremy's arm.

" Why would he be after Lydia? I thought he was in New Orleans for good?" Elena seemed the most curious and I couldn't blame her. She wanted answers about the person who I assumed killed her into vampirism.

" He claimed that he would be back for the next doppelgänger if he or she was here." Jeremy looked around at all of us.

" Wait." I said shaking my head in confusion. "Are you saying that I am a doppelgänger?"

The air was silent. Tension was building up quickly and there was no way in stopping it.

" You or one of your siblings." Bonnie said.
