The rest of the time here was spent just relaxing, I wanted to keep moving but no one else saw it my way. I did not feel comfortable staying, I didn't want to risk anyone's lives. My near death experience was their excuse to stay put, we were wasting precious time. Everyday we didn't make it to the research center was a day closer for my parents, for Hopper, to reach their goal. I'm not sure we would find anything but I had to hope that there was something, anything to get us a step closer to getting the answers we needed and to find the royals. If John, that was the name of the former Alpha of Tyler's pack, was able to find them then we could too.

"I really think you should stay at least one more day, to make sure you're fully healed." Mia insisted, I was currently in a small coffee shop with her just catching up. It was weird having another friend that was a female that wasn't Jennifer but Mia and I seemed to hit it off. She has always been nice to me even when she didn't have to.

"We need to keep moving." I didn't want to tell her that her pack was in danger just for housing me, no need to worry them. I sipped my tea, a sweet herbal mint tea, one of my favorites.

"You took a hell of a beating, you need rest, your wolf needs rest." She urged, Mia was not aware of my fast healing or my abilities. The less she knew the safer she was, maybe one day when things calmed down I had thought about telling her everything. But for now I just didn't feel comfortable telling her anything.

"I'll be fine." I was able to convince the others to leave tomorrow morning, it was a compromise. Jax wanted to stay an extra day but that just didn't sit well with me. We have already been here for three days, one spent with me out cold. After we left the hospital, we had lunch with the their pack, and then I did some training in the gym. I wanted to make sure my body was no longer sore, so I did some sparring with a few of the pack warriors. The next day, Jax and Tyler was in meetings with Alpha Oliver and Mia took the opportunity to steal me away. That's how we ended up here this little coffee shop. She wanted some girl time, something I wasn't accustomed to. I can't lie though, it was nice to have a break from looking over my shoulder constantly.

"You think you'll find something at this old place? To help deal with the rouge problem?" She was aware of everything else though, we couldn't exactly keep it a secret after what happened at the annual ball. Jax and I had filled them in about the Wolfssegen and what it does to wolves.

"I hope so, it's the only lead we've got." I was betting everything on finding something there, if our information was right and the royal alpha had hid something there just in case the weapon was revived then we had to try. It was our only option, right now we had nothing to deal with this. Aside from having the dagger and keeping me away from Hopper we had nothing, they had the upper hand.

"This weapon the rouges have, it's dangerous. The only record of it is with the rouges and that is unsettling." They didn't know about my parents or that there was a journal. She sat there thinking, looking at her coffee. Her black hair neatly falling just past her ears as her eyes shining with a look of deep concentration.

"Is there anything we can do from here? We would like to help." She offered as she glanced back up to me. Was there anything they could do? I'm not sure, part of me just wanted to keep them out of it but she was the Luna of her pack. Being a Luna meant putting in her part to help her pack and other Alphas and Lunas to keep pack wolves safe. The only thing I could think of was maybe doing research.

"Maybe, how much do you know about the royals?" Maybe she could help by finding any information about their whereabouts. I'm not sure what information was out there regarding where they were hiding.

"Not much, I was told that they all went into hiding but no one knew where." She states tapping her chin as she was in thought.

"If you wanted to help, you could try and figure out where they were hiding. We need to find them but we have no idea where to look. We are hoping that we'll find something at the research center but it's a long shot." She grabs her cup, taking a swig of her coffee before she leans forward getting closer to me from across the small table.
