➳ Selfish Creatures

Everyone says that life, just isn't fair

that you should move on,

learn to accept things the way they are.

But how will we make the world better

If we convince ourselves that life shouldn't be fair?

That injustice is ordinary,

accepted?

As humans,

shouldn't we strive to perfect the world

we live in?

But we, are selfish

we don't want to see fairness

because that might mean

you will lose something

to give it to someone else

and we simply don't want that.

We would rather create unfairness

so the world can only be good to us,

and not to anybody else.

This is so weird and different from the other poems I've written and I literally wrote it under a minute. Please comment to let me know what you think about it because I don't have a clue what I think about it.
