➳ Locked Door

My dear, haven't you heard?

This door is locked and yet you are here uninvited

I don't want to see you, don't you understand?

I am trying to forget, that's all

For if I keep remembering you,

My heart will surely ache for days on an end

And the gates to this place of mine will be locked forever

So I am trying to keep them closed for now, for you

In hopes that when the day comes, they will open again

For someone else
