she was standing at the precipice
of her life
wind was blowing
and birds were singing
yet her heart felt as

as ever
she lifted one foot
and watched how the world
bustled beneath her
she was mesmerized by their ability
to

she wondered what would happen
if her other foot was to slip
if she were to jump

the answer was lost
as soon as she leaped to her
