With summer turning into autumn, not only does the air grow colder, but so does Lip's relationship with Ian. Ever since he kicked Mickey out—and Ian left with him—the brothers haven't spoken. After a couple of days, Lip sent a message: "Hey, are we OK?"
And with no response... they clearly aren't.

He tries to focus on the good things. Y/N told him that Kev planned a honeymoon in the form of a camping trip which, for whatever reason, includes their neighbor. But with Mickey gone—who was supposed to babysit—Lip and Y/N have no one. They thought about finding someone else, but for some reason the blonde doesn't feel like going, brushing it off by saying he wants to stay with the kids.

So the trip became a brother's trip instead—Kev, V, and Vlad going camping with Y/N.

"Ian said anything?" Lip asks Debbie and Liam as the family eats breakfast.

With a mouth full of toast, Debbie speaks up. "They're staying with someone. Dunno who though."

"He's still pissed at you." Liam points out.

Lip isn't surprised. "Can you try to... smooth things out?"

"We can try, but knowing Ian, he'll stay pissed for a while." Debbie says. "Maybe Fiona can talk to him? She's better at this than we are."

"True." Liam agrees.

That's when they hear footsteps on the stairs. Lip looks back to see his husband carrying a large bag. Dressed warmly, Y/N looks ready to disappear into the wilderness.

"You sure you'll be fine staying here?" Y/N asks, glancing at the kids around the table while Lip handles their breakfast. "I know you've gotten used to it since I started working, but I'm free today. And I'm still their father."

"It's fine." Lip assures. He stands and places a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "You never went camping. I can handle the kids for a couple of days."

Still hesitant, Y/N wants to make sure Lip knows he can rely on him. "Call me if anything happens—or even if you're burned out."

"I can never be burned out with these children." Lip looks toward Mikhail, who is listening closely. He ruffles the boy's hair. "Right, Mik?"

"You wish."

A bit surprised by his son's snarky tone, Lip looks back at Y/N. "He already looks too much like us."

Y/N chuckles. "I guess I'll be going." He kisses his husband. "Remember, call me."

He then turns to the children, saying goodbye one by one. "Goodbye Mak, Kate, Lyn, and Fred. Goodbye Alyosha."

"Bye, papa."

Y/N then looks at Mikhail and gives a quick peck on the top of his head. "Goodbye, Mik. Don't give your dad a hard time."

"No."

Y/N laughs softly and looks at everyone with a warm smile. "Well, I'm off."

"What do you mean, you're leaving!?"

Back at Vlad's and Jimmy's apartment, the young girl is crying loudly. With the Russian's lack of enthusiasm ever since the he came into Jimmy's life, the brunette feels forced to take care of the baby alone. Meanwhile, his legal husband—through guilt, manipulation, or outright blackmail—is packing his things without an ounce of shame.

"I told you about the camping trip." Vlad says casually.

"No, you didn't!"

"Oh..." Vlad shrugs. "Guess not."
