Final Part. The End Of The Old Life

It's the final day. Their final day at the house. Tomorrow, they hand over the keys to Brad and his family, leave for the airport, fly away, and go to their new home in Ireland. Everyone can feel the tension—whether it's excitement or nervousness.

Despite all these feelings, everyone seems to be in a good mood, since it's Fred's birthday party. Not only are the birthday boy's friends there, but also his uncles and aunts. Whether from Lip's side or Y/N's side, everyone seems to be present. And while it's still early afternoon, the party is already underway.

"Do you need some help?"

Y/N looks aside and sees Kev walking toward him. The family is currently preparing food—making lemonade, baking cakes, and applying glaze to a cake.

"Sure."

The older brother walks over and begins to help. However, he then stands behind Y/N. With his arms close around his brother's body, Kev awkwardly grabs some tools and tries to help.

"Kev?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you want me to hug you again?"

The older brother instantly drops the tools and hugs his brother from behind. "I'm going to miss you...!"

"I'm going to miss you too." Y/N says, feeling his brother's head against his shoulder.

While this heartfelt moment unfolds between the brothers, those sitting at the table watch somewhat awkwardly.

"This have been the last couple of days." V comments, sounding amused. "Even when we moved to Kentucky, it was a lot less... dramatic."

"I love you!" Kev hugs his brother tightly, trying to hold back his tears.

Y/N turns around and hugs him back. "I love you too!"

Fiona chuckles and looks at her younger brother. "I think you've got competition."

"If it wasn't for the fact they're brothers, I'd definitely feel jealous." Lip retorts.

Debbie raises an eyebrow. "But they aren't."

Kev instantly glares at Debbie while still hugging his brother. "Shut up, Debbie!" This causes a flinch from the protective man.

Back in the living room, the Gallagher kids are playing games together with their nieces. Mandy and Vlad are sitting in the corner, chatting with each other. The man is showing a picture on his phone.

"Your daughter is cute." Mandy smiles softly.

"She got that from me." Vlad says with confidence. "She would love you."

Mandy gets another idea to tease her partner. "Think I would be a good stepmom?"

The redhead looks flustered, not expecting the comment. "If you want to, yeah."

Mandy chuckles. "Just teasing. But I want to meet her one day."

Vlad smiles softly. "She would love that."

Back at the couch, Kate seethes with anger toward her uncle. While everyone tries to have a good time, Mikhail notices her anger and speaks up.

"You know frowning will give you wrinkles."

"Shut up, you twat!" Kate quickly shuts him down.

Mikhail, however, looks entertained. "You got a crush on Mandy or something?"

His sister scoffs. "I'm not a dyke like Debbie!"

Franny frowns at her cousin, looking offended. "Hey! That's not nice!"
