It had been half a year since Lip got married, back when everything still seemed so bright. But ever since that day, everything had been falling apart. That was when his family started to disappear—not the family he created with Y/N, but the one with his brothers and sisters. And it all started with Fiona. He remembers it all too well, as it continues to haunt his dreams.

It was supposed to be just one date. Just him and Y/N, a chance to wind down a little. They were having fun, but after receiving a phone call, everything went dark, and they rushed to the hospital.

With haste, the fathers made their way there, where they saw the aftermath of what had happened.

"Alyosha is going to be physically fine in the short term, but it's important to understand the potential long-term consequences. At two years old, children are still in a crucial stage of neurological and cognitive development. Consuming alcohol at such a young age can interfere with brain growth."

"He may face challenges in developing his speech and could experience delayed milestones in communication. There's no way to predict the exact outcome right now, but he will need close monitoring and potentially speech therapy as he grows. It's essential to address any signs of delay early to give him the best chance at overcoming these obstacles."

"Child Protective Services may get involved, given the nature of this incident. Whenever a child is hospitalized due to an avoidable circumstance—particularly one involving alcohol—it's standard procedure for the hospital to notify CPS. They'll likely investigate to ensure Alyosha's safety going forward... as well as that of your other children."

Lip remembers how broken his husband looked at the sight of their son lying in the hospital bed, barely two years old. He hadn't done anything wrong, and yet he was facing the consequences of consuming alcohol without even knowing it. While his husband was entirely focused on their son and his safety, the blonde knew the true cause of this.

Fueled by anger, he stormed into the hallway, where he found Fiona sitting, looking worried and exhausted. It had been a while since his sister's world had crumbled. She had lost everything—Patsy's, her apartment building, her relationship, her money—and she had turned to alcohol to cope. While Lip had once pitied her, feeling like he could relate, all that sympathy vanished the moment he learned what had happened.

"What the fuck, Fiona!?" Lip yells, beyond furious. "One fucking night! You were supposed to watch them for one fucking night! Is it that hard not to be drunk all the time!?"

Fiona stands up. Feeling responsible, she tries to defend herself. "I-I didn't mean for this to happen, Lip! I'm sorry, I didn't think—"

"Exactly! You didn't think!" Lip shouts. "And now Alyosha might have to deal with this for the rest of his life! Who the fuck knows what shit he's going to have to face later on!"

"Lip—!"

"And that's if we're lucky enough to even see it! Because CPS has been informed!" Lip glares at his sister, who can only feel the weight of her guilt. "They can take all of our kids! All of them!"

"I said I was sorry!"

"Tell that to my fucking son who almost died!" Lip pants, shaking with rage. Then an idea forms—one he believes will get CPS off his back. "I don't ever want to see you again."

Fiona looks stunned. "W-What...?"

"You're still the same person. You did it to Liam... and now it's Alyo..." Lip forces his voice to stay steady. "I want you to go home, pack your shit, and leave. I don't care what happens to you. All I want is for you to be gone and never come back!"
