With the new house bought, that leaves the next step: selling the old house. Although he always knew it was going to happen, Lip still feels sad about it. Standing on the porch and leaning against the banister while Y/N hugs him from behind, they both stare at the "For Sale!" sign. What makes the shorter man feel even worse is the price it's going to be sold for.

"$225,000... That's how much the house is being sold for?"

"It's not like we're desperate for the money." Y/N comments.

"I'm not upset about that. It's just... 29 years of living here... and it's all worth just $225,000..."

Y/N quietly hums, understanding where his husband is coming from. Gently, he kisses the top of the smaller man's head before snuggling his face into Lip's hair.

"Your life can't be given a price." Y/N murmurs, holding him a bit tighter while Lip fully embraces the comfort. "And we made sure this house became the best it could be. We improved the garden, built an ensuite, upgraded the kitchen—everything. That's all thanks to us, and now a new family can live here. Hopefully the neighborhood will be less shitty for them too."

Lip softly chuckles. "I hope that for the poor bastards too..."

That's when the couple notices Mandy walking toward the house. Y/N lets go of his husband, and both men walk toward the front yard.

"Hey."

"Hey." Mandy glances at the sign. "Guess you bought the house."

"We sure did." Y/N comments. "And now it's time to sell this shack."

"Interested?" Lip asks.

"No thanks." Mandy declines. "Unlike you two, I don't have that kind of money. But I am looking for a rich guy."

Lip looks intrigued. "You're dating again?"

"Yeah." Lip is happy to hear that. Despite her past as a prostitute, he's glad she's gained enough confidence to get back out there and try to live a normal life again. "I could use a wingman."

Lip hums. "Because the best wingman is your ex."

"Fine. Y/N then, since he and I share the same taste in men."

"Are you flirting with my husband?" Y/N asks, amused.

Mandy chuckles. "Maybe."

"You're lucky I like you. I can get protective."

Lip instantly flashes back to when Y/N got Helene fired, keyed her car, and did several other things. "Yeah, no shit." He then looks back at Mandy. "Anyway, we're planning to go camping next week. I can get an extra sleeping bag."

"No thanks." Mandy gives him a soft smile. "Got really bad memories from camping when I was little. Blame my dad."

"You sure?" Lip points toward the back. "We got an RV."

"You bought one?"

"No, just rented one."

Lip leads Mandy toward the backyard, with Y/N following behind. There, parked in the back alley behind the garden, is a large white camper.

Lip begins explaining. "We always wanted to go on trips and stuff. We originally planned to years ago, until we ended up with four more kids. And since we're leaving next year and the kids are older now, we figured we should finally do it."

"Sounds like a good time." Mandy replies. "I doubt Kate would like it, though."

"Yeah, but I'm sure she'll appreciate it when she's older." Lip comments.
