Chapter 29: Love hurts

Riley's POV

I woke up to an empty side of the bed all that came in to my mind was that thank goodness he was gone, I loved Brad and I care about him but what he did was out of order, I looked at my wrists and saw the bruises showing more I felt a tear fall down my cheek, I managed to stumble out of bed and walked in to the bathroom as I looked in the mirror I saw a hand mark on my face, I looked down I just felt so hurt inside. I was starting to feel hungry so I did my make up to cover up the mark Brad did, I got changed in to my leggings and put on my baggy jumper, I put on my converses and headed downstairs to the lobby to see everyone getting there breakfast.

I saw Tara and Levi queuing up I walked over and stood next to them and grabbed a bowl and started to pick what cereal I wanted.

"Are you sure your okay?" Tara asked me

I looked at her and just nodded

"You don't look it Ri" Levi stated

I placed the bowl down and sighed "I am fine what part of that don't anyone understand"

I walked over and sat next to Nate.

"If your going to ask if I am okay I will literally pour your breakfast over you" I said giving him one of my don't you dare looks.

"I know your not okay but I am here if  you need to talk...just so you know that" Nate smiled

"Thanks" I smiled back

I looked up and saw Brad sitting opposite me not making eye contact with me.

"Are you two okay now?" Connor asked

"Yeah were fine" Brad mumbled

"It's just we heard shouting coming from Riley's room" Tristan said as he took a spoonful of cereal in his mouth

I stood up and all eyes stared directly at me "I'm just going to go upstairs in my room" I pouted looking down, I headed towards the lift but as I was about to step in I heard name being shouted.

"Riley!"

I turned around to see Nate running up to me I let out a sigh

"What is it Nate" I asked as I stepped in to the lift.

"I need to talk to you please?" Nate sighed as he followed me in to lift

The lift was silent but awkward as the lift stopped and we arrived on the floor were my room is, we both stepped out the lift and headed to my room.

"So what is it you want to talk about?" I asked him as I sat on the bed

"What happened last night Riley? I even heard the shouting and he was pretty drunk" Nate replied sitting on the bed

"No...Nothing happened Nate...please just drop it"  I said burying my head in my hands

"Riley know something happened...I'm not going to force it out of you but I am here for you whenever you need to talk" Nate whispered as he rubbed my back

I looked up at him "Thankyou but I'm fine I really am" I sighed

I looked to the door as I heard the door open, I looked up to see Brad walking in and I turned to Nate.

"I think you should go" I whispered

"Riley I'm not leaving" Nate replied looking in to my eyes

"You heard her mate leave" Brad smirked

"You have turned in to one big dick, I'm telling you if you hurt Riley you will not only me to deal with but so many other people" Nate hissed as he stood up and pushed past Brad closing the door.
