ONIKA
My blaring alarm going off quickly woke me up and brought me back to the reality that the weekend was over.
Before I could even turn my alarm off, Bey quickly moved her arm off me and turned it off herself.
We slept together just like every other night, but it was different after the kiss. I was more aware of her body, and my body against hers.
The little voice in my head saying it was wrong still existed, maybe even a little more now that my thoughts were getting more and more sinful. I just had to realize it was my parent's voice, and not mine.
It felt right with Bey, and I felt a happiness when it was just us that I never experienced with anybody else. God wouldn't want me to give that up just because of what her gender is.
Just as I was starting to fall back asleep, my second alarm went off and Bey turned it off faster than the first.
I sighed and started to get up but Bey pulled me back into her arms and tightened them around me. The way she sleepily mumbled in my ears did something to me. "Don't go. Skip class and stay with me forever."
I softly laughed, "I wish. Unfortunately, it's bio so I can't. Do you want to get lunch later before my club meeting?"
"If you have to leave, then of course, but I still don't want you to leave."
"I'll see you again in a couple hours." I had to practically pry myself out of her arms but I got free and went to the bathroom to start getting ready for class.
It was hot and I felt like dressing cute so I wore jean shorts and a plaid cami blouse with some sandals. I had some extra time so I did my hair in a half up half down with two pigtails and used my curling iron to flip my ends out so I looked like a barbie. It was adorable.
By the time I was done getting ready, Bey was already back to sleep so I quickly just packed my bag and gave her a cheek kiss goodbye.
I went to class but I couldn't stop replaying the multiple times Bey and I kissed over the weekend. The flashbacks were making me feel like I was still there with her.
The kissing didn't stop after the game on Friday, we continued through the entire weekend, kissing each other goodnight and randomly here and there.
I had no idea how much I'd love kissing. I got the craziest butterflies ever, and feelings that felt so good that sometimes I'd have to stop us. I knew I wasn't ready to do anything more than kiss, but kissing was more than good enough for me. I just hoped it was enough for Bey too, since I knew she was used to doing a lot more, way sooner.
With my mind elsewhere, class flew by and my next one flew by just as fast. Probably because I was excited to get lunch with Bey.
We didn't text at all outside of our groupchat since I left the room in the morning, but she was standing outside my class when I walked out.
I couldn't help how big I smiled when I saw her. She looked so cute standing there waiting for me, and the way her eyes lit up when she saw me come out of the classroom was adorable.
I loved how she dressed and how cool she always looked, even when she was wearing the most basic things. She was wearing camo cargo shorts and a brown zip up hoodie over a plain white t shirt and a gold necklace, but she made it look so good.
I happily walked over to her and gave her a quick hug since there were a lot of people around. "This is a nice surprise."
"Yeah, I was right by your building so I thought It'd make sense to just walk to get lunch together." She took my bag off my shoulder and put it on her own. "Ready to go?"
