Chapter 17

Glen's POV

"You should be." I said as the sun was covered up

"Don't you try anything boy!" I heard the guard shout

"Why not? You afriad of the dark?" I asked taunting him

"Stop it now!!" He shouted I could only make out his figure a little bit

I laughed and stepped foward, the darkeness getting deeper and thicker, like a blanket of black wrapped around the earth.

"I can't see!" he shouted and I heard him fall backwards

"Not so mighty now." I chuckled walking foward

"Some one help!!!" He screamed loudly

"Too late." I whispered before I heard him gasp and then choke for air.

"That's why I love the dark." I said walking towards the fence, the darkness slowly fadding into light.

I squeezed through the small hole in the fence and turned around to see the guard laying dead on the pavement. I shrugged and walked foward hoping to find a way far gone from this place.

I walked slowly through the desert as night soon fall, sweat dripping from my body I started to run. I needed to get far away from that place, far away from the place where they turned me dark, evil.

What have I done? I thought to myself as I ran faster, trying to get away. But I didn’t care, I wanted to get away.  I wanted to forget this place, forget what they did to me, I’ve tried, but it doesn’t always work.

I saw a small flame in the distance, maybe some others who escaped had decided to set up a camp, maybe… just maybe… we could be normal, fit in.
