Chapter 36
Glen’s POV
Honestly, I had no clue what in the world was going on. But I was a little freaked out. As much as it hurt me to admit it, I didn’t want to see this girl get hurt. Snap out of it dude! I told myself as I caught myself staring at her next to the brunette as she was about to send a message out to the others.
“Are you sure this is gonna work?” I asked cursing myself not to look at them
And of course, they both ignored me. I felt like I mind as well be talking to myself, and I cursed myself again, cause I was.
“Okay..,” Kayla said, a little unsure about what she was going to do “Wait, what should I say?” she asked looking at Haley
“I don’t know,” I started “Just make it short and simple.”
“You’ll think of something, just make it straight to the point.” Haley said
“Hello? Can anyone hear me?” I asked sarcastically
“Glen, shut up.” I heard Kayla snap
“I hope this works.” Haley mumbled gripping Kayla’s hand
It better, I told myself looking at anything that wasn’t them I can’t do this anymore.
I finally stopped when I was looking at the clump of sand in front of me. Why do they make me feel okay about myself? They make me feel like I’m on the good guy’s side…
Suddenly I heard Kayla’s voice in my mind, replacing my thoughts. It was working. Well at least I hope it would work, it may not extend farther then our minds. Oh gosh I hope it would.
