Author’s Note: Another heavy chapter for “The Promise Bracelet”. To everyone who grew to love and appreciate Janine Bolivar-Dela Acuesta, thank you so much. Truthfully, her arc was supposed to end in Chapter 32. However, because she is my absolute favorite character in this story, I chose to extend her timeline. Writing her death scene was incredibly difficult for me, as I view her as one of my most unique female characters. Ultimately, her departure was necessary for the plot to progress.
