Chapter 17

ONCE I GET TO DAY 25 IM GONNA LIKE MAKE IT EVERY DAY STILL BUT IM GONNA PUT BOTH CALUM AND RUBY IN THE CHAPTERS BECAUSE I DONT WANT YOU GUYS TO GET BORED OR ANYTHING AND YEAH AND IT ALSO MAKES THE CHAPTERS LONGER ☺️

Day 27: Calum

Today we had a recording session with Joel and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte and Joh Feldman.

"So boys today we will be recording the two songs you guys have just written which are Social Casualty and everything I didnt say." John spoke, the boys and I nodding.

"I probably wont sing in this sing guys." Ashton spoke up. Ashton has always been self conscious about his voice, even though I though he had a great one. The other boys thought that to.

"Okay so all of you will sing the "La La" part together and then Luke you are up first." John instructed.

"Just a kid, it's all the same
Growing up, it doesn't change
Who are they to try and put us down?" Luke sang.

He made a few little slip ups but he ended up nailing the verse as well as Michael. Then it came up to me.

"Just a girl who turned eighteen
She ran away to chase her dreams.
And they said she wouldn't-" I stopped half way though the verse. I had forgot.

"Calum its "She wouldnt make it far" okay buddy." Ashton smilied. I put my thumbs up to signal that I was ready to go again.

I started the second part to the verse and the same thing happened. I dont know what was going on with me.

I chucked off the earphones and stormer out. I couldnt believe this. Why was this happening?

"Calum wait." I heard Luke yell, but I just kept walking.

I left the building and turned right down the street, just deciding I was gonna go for a walk.
I ended up at a small coffee shop about a block away.

At the counter stood a cute brunette girl. Her name tag said Ashley and she looked around 5 foot 1.

"Hello how can I-" She stopped mid sentence before looking up at me. "Are you Calum Hood?" She questioned.

"Why yes I am and you must be Ashley." I smiled, looking down at her name tag.

"Yeah I am." She giggled. "I love your band and I cant wait for the new album." She said. "Anyway what can I get you?"

"Just a coffee thanks." I replied, Ashley giving me a nod.

"When do you finish?" I ask her, before she turns around and hands me my coffee.

"At 3:00pm why?"

"Do you want to go see a movie with me or something?"

"Sure."

"Its 2:30 now, Ill just wait for you." I grabbed my coffee and went and sat down at an empty table.

Ashley finished work and we decided to go off and see Paper Towns. I hadnt called or texted the boys and told them where I was or what I was doing.

We were walking to the cinema and I remembered I remembered the timer. How could I forget? I had a soulmate out there. Should I really be going on a date with this girl? I mean its not like its cheating is it?
