Chapter 24

Ill do a small calum chapter next :) I hope this story isnt getting boring and Im sorry if it is.

Ruby's POV

It was now Friday and I still had no idea what to draw. Usually Id just be able to think of something easily and draw it, but now I just cant. I didnt want to draw just the normal things like trees or flowers. I wanted it to be outside of the box and weird, but not too weird.

As I was about to put my pencil to paper, my phone rang. It was Cathy.

"Hello." I said into the phone.

"Hey Ruby, have you started the drawing yet?" She questioned.

I let out a sigh. "No I havent. I just dont know what to draw." I groaned, banging my head on the table.

"Good!" She replied, which startled me to say the least. "Because we are turning this into a job for you."

A job?

"What do you mean?" I had no clue what sort of job this was for or who it was for, but lets just say my nerves have went up more.

"We want you to design an album cover for the band 5 Seconds of Summer." She yelled excitedly into the phone.

"Wait wait wait wait." I smiled into the phone, even though Cathy couldnt see me. "I love those guys." I squealed.

Cathy laughed. "I guess we chose the right girl then."

"Well I definitly hope you did." I replied.

"Well I have to go, remember by Monday!" And with that, she had hung up.

I cant believe it. Im literally shaking. Im gonna be designing 5 Seconds of Summer's album cover. This must be a dream or something.

I bolted downstairs to my mum and dad.

"Guess what?" I yelled, watching my dad jump up off the couch, a scared look on his face.

"Is everything okay? Are you hurt? What happened?" Dad asked me all these questions as I just laughed.

"Yes everythings fine, no Im not hurt and Cathy just rang me and said Im gonna be designing an album cover for 5 Seconds of Summer." I screamed at my parents, poor Cooper looking at me like I was insane.

"Thats amazing sweetheart, were so happy and proud of you." My dad smiled, before giving me a hug. Mum doing the same thing after.

I left my parents once more and went back up to my room. I decided that I would have to find out a little more about the boys and their personalities before I started the design.

Ashton was the happy and giggly one, Calum the shy yet naked one, Michael the crazy and loud one and Luke the baby of the group, yet he seemed to be the most mature. I laughed as I read some of the things about these boys.

'Calum Hood' I typed into google.

The first thing that came up was an article about him and a girl called Ashley. Letting my curiosity get the best of me, I clicked on it. All the article said was how they had spent a night together and all that jazz.

As I kept scrolling I found another article, but this time it was one with a photo of Calums timer, which just like mine, was at 0 aswell. I didnt want to think "oh Im Calums soulmate" because it could be someone else. Like Im sure, sadly, that others have probably had the same thing happen to them.

So its been 2 hours now, and I think I have gathered enough on the boys to start this drawing. I hope it turns out great.
