I will kill him

Panic, anger, rage shot through me as I saw the bloodsucker leaning into Bella's neck, ready to suck out the blood and life from her body.

In an instant I was running across the lot -not caring who saw me- hoping that I wouldn't be late. Please, God don't make me late. Don't make me loose her, when I just found her.

I never ran as fast in my human form as now. When I reached them I grabbed the leech by his neck and threw him at a tree. Then I turned to see Bella's condition. She was breathing hard and was probably unconscious. That was all I could grasp before Black lunged for me and tackled me onto the ground. He was ready to rip out my throat but Jasper's growl distracted him. My brother pushed him off of me. They landed in the woods, safe from humans' eyes. Luckily Jasper phased while he pushed Jacob off me.

I was torn in half. I really wanted to kill Jacob Black for hurting her. Torn each limb one by one from his body. But I didn't want to leave Bella's side either. However Bella made the decision for me when she let out a small whimper. I was instantly by her side. She was hurt, she needed me. I gently pulled her into my lap and stroked her cheek. Her eyes were still closed. I started to get anxious.

That was when Emmett, Rose and Alice -she had the same class as Rosalie- arrived. I looked up at them and said. "Jasper is fighting in the woods with Jacob. Help him! Alice you are taking Bella to the hospital with me! Come on!" With that the wolves run into the woods and phased. I heard them joining in the fight. Then I looked Alice who was still standing at the same spot, not knowing what to do and a little vit panicking. "Alice, you are going to drive my car. Got it?" When she nodded I threw her the car keys. She ran off with them and I scooped Bella gently into my arms, an electric current ran up my arms and through my body. I didn't have time to think about it, but I knew that I needed to feel it again somehow later. Alice stopped the car infront of us and opened the backseats door for us. I laid Bella down, her head in my lap.

Alice started to drive down to the hospital. We were almost half way when -to my relief- Bella finally opened her eyes. She blinked a few times as she took in her surroundings. I watched anxiously how much pain she was in.

When she realised who was she lying on confusion flashed across her face. "E-Edward?" Trill shot over my body when she said my name.

"Shh. Don't worry Bella, everything is going to be okay." She wanted to sit up but I didn't let her. Who knew how serious her injury was. Her expression reminded thoughtful for the entire car ride.

When we arrived at the hospital Alice opened the door for us. I completely forgot that she was in the car as well, my thoughts were about Bella. I got Bella into my arms and got out the car. She weighted nohing.

"I can walk, you know?" She said annoyed or embarrassed. I rolled my eyes. She almost got killed but she still didn't want to show weakness.

"Yeah, right." I shook my head. She huffed and crossed her arms across her chest. But I knew she wasn't too mad because she leaned against me as I carried her inside. And I welcomed that little touch. God, I was hopeless. How I would be able to stay away from her when my skin warmed just from a simle touch from her? There was no time to think about that problem now though, she was hurt, that was my first priority.

We stepped in the hospital and Alice went off to find Carlisle. I put Bella down on a seat, in the waiting room. I watched anxiously how much pain she was in. I gonna kill that bloodsucker. Rip his limbs out one by one. Then reattach them then tore them out again. As I was thinking an evil smile crept to my face, I saw Bella turn to me but when she did pain crossed her face. In an instant worry squeezed my chest.

"Are you okay? How much does it hurt?" I asked but she just stared at me with a thoughtful expression. "Bella?" I asked again.

"Oh, sorry. It's not that bad." She shuttered and blushed. She was adorable.

"What were you thinking?"

"Umm, nothing, really." She said but she didn't look in my eyes. She was a very bad liar.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" I asked looking deep in her eyes. And it was true. She could tell me the most stupidest problem I would still try to amke it right. And that thought scared me a little.

She gulped and looked away. "I-I was just thinking about what had happened in the parking lot." She said and looked back into my eyes. Her's were full of seriousness and curiosity. I kept a straight face, but inside I was screaming.

Shit! I was screwed.
