One's most loyal companions are usually dogs.
Other's could consider their animals in general, partners, or even just friends as their most important and loyal companions.
And to a degree that was true, Shigaraki wasn't entirely sure about his title but he was definitely the most loyal companion to him, Kurogiri.

Not just when it came to villainous behavior and acts, not just for gathering the information needed to preform this. It did run deeper than that. And today was a big test in the other's loyalty, hiding a secret even from the other league members.

'It's a list.'
'It's a list.'
'It's just a normal grocery store list.'

Any other time Shigaraki would've gotten his own supplies, however he had to go scout out a smaller Villian group seen in their area. Dangerous? Likely not, just fucking annoying. Not as annoying as the timing, and that was reminded each time Shigaraki tightened his grip on the list. On appearance it was normal-

• Milk
•Napkins (since when were they the type to use napkins??)
•Ice
•? (Sometime he couldn't read- who the fuck wrote this?)

The list continued and at the very bottom, almost missable. As meek as if asking for it in person-

•Bottle

An incredibly vague statement. A bottle? A bottle of what? But no, not a bottle of anything. A..baby bottle. But SHH there was no way the head of a Villian group would EVER admit that.
So why the bottle you may ask? Shigaraki was an age regressor, let's be honest he had an incredibly shitty childhood, and sometimes when it was really late or no one else was home. He'd regress. Usually around the age of 2-5, he didn't have any gear, no caregiver, forced to be by himself and take care of himself which was incredibly stressful and hard. He wasn't even good at it normally.

Okay, Shigaraki waited in his room listening as the last of the footsteps disappeared out the front door which shut behind whomever. Show time. He knew Kurogiri wasn't home, he didn't know where he was but just not home. The blue haired boy moved across the floor with a purpose note tight in hand, he forced himself to take a breath placing it on the bar.

Shigaraki didn't linger. He couldn't. He wouldn't. He walked to the front door without even a glance over his shoulder and left the little note to itself. The final bullet carrying a story all on its own much like its writer. Hoping to be understood despite its flaws with the lack of detail and so low on the list itself. Hopefully it would make a difference.
