I know I left you all at a little bit of a cliffhanger. Well your going to be stuck there for a while. I want to do both Gemma and the stalker's point of view. Really get into their character, so you will be seeing a lot of back and forth between them. Because I am doing this, I will be doing double updates most of the time. I squeezed these in before work :)

After I left Gemma's I waited at her normal morning after dive. The food wasn't too bad here. I picked a table in the corner and faced the wall. I had my hood up, just to make sure she wouldn't recognize me. I was an orange juice and one pancake in when I heard her voice. The voice I had committed to memory, the one I played over and over in my head every chance I got. At first I didn't know what they were talking about. I perked my ears and when I heard Gemma laugh, I closed my eyes. I was in heaven. I continued to listen, and found they were talking about last night. This should be good.

"The finger trick doesn't really work, you know that right?"

Hmm I would have to google that later.....

"It works when you can see only one set of fingers. I checked before I left, I'll have you know."

    "And?"

    "The verdict is still out."

"You can always do like the rest of the skanks, and get them hard on the dance floor before you leave with them."

I almost just sprayed out my drink all over the place. I had no idea Gemma could be this lude, not that I didn't like it.

Shelly scoffed. "That is too much work. I can't go humping on legs like a horny dog to see if they are even worth the effort. You make it home okay?"

    "Obviously, I'm here now."

"Joe said you left with someone."

    "Who the hell is Joe?"

"The bartender from the club last night." Shelly snickered out.

"I really don't remember, after drinking all of my drinks and all of yours, I'm lucky I got home at all."

This was good news and bad news. I didn't want her to remember what I looked like just in case something happened in the future, but I secretly, deep down, wanted her to remember and like me. She was really lucky I was there, and not some psycho rapist. She was an easy target and way beyond the legal limit.

"I knew it! I knew I was feeling too sober for all of the drinks I had ordered."

"Not sober enough, you went home with a chicken nugget."

A what the fuck? Her musical laugh exploded out along with Shelly's.

"You finally get laid dirt leg?"

"Nope" She let the p pop. "I woke up in the same clothes I wore out, and he was gone when I got up." She almost sounded disappointed, like she wanted me to stay. But she also couldn't remember me so maybe she had only wanted the answer to the puzzle.

"That's a crying shame Gem. If anyone needs a good fuck, it's you."

That's definitely a good tid bit for later, and just reassures me that she hasn't slept with anyone since I have been watching her.

    "Shelly!"

Oh yeah, by the sound of her voice, I had a solid guarantee that she hadn't and that she needed a good fuck, but didn't want to admit to it.

"What did he look like? I bet he was smoking hot if you let him sleep over."

    "Don't know."

Man I would have loved to have known her opinion about me.

    "Did you get his name?"

"I'm sure I did at some point, but I don't remember. It starts with an A I think."

She only knows that because I left a note. I had to give the girl some hints, just in case.

"Check your phone and see if he is in your contacts!"

I smiled. I had put my number in her phone, giving her the opportunity to reach out to me if she wanted. I knew that Shelly would make her text me. Right then and there.

    "Nothing."

My smile fell. I know I put it in there.

"How could you do this to me!" Shelly, I feel the same way right now. "Take a guy home, not sleep with him, not get his number, not even his name." Nail on the head! "What's going on with you? I know your'e not over what happened a while back. Even so, you never would have taken someone home with you. Spill."

"I don't effing know okay? I feel like I'm standing in the middle of a merry go round and someone has started pushing it. I feel like, at any moment I'm going to be slung off."

Listening in on her conversations in the past has never learned me anything of the sort. Gemma was always, always in a good mood. Even if she was feeling bad, she always put a smile on her face and made the best of it. That is the sole reason why I had started watching her in the first place. I let them leave before I left, so I wouldn't be noticed. I had overheard her plans of a possible staying in tonight. Something I was fifty fifty about. This meant I wouldn't have to worry about her, but it also meant I couldn't happen upon her either. Although, I'm not too sure if I want to. I had approached her last night and it took every ounce of bravery, only to have her not remember me.

I had planned on just a small conversation, but the promotion to drunk duties were well accepted. I even took a bonus of cuddling. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to go all the way last night, but I wanted her to want me, clean and sober. I wanted her to remember me, because she wanted to, because she liked me.
