Dinner

Come in Theo! Thanks for the flowers, that is very kind of you.  They smell just wonderful!

No problem Shailene, my mom always told me to never show up to a girls house without flowers. She always said the way to put a smile on a girls face was with a nice bouqet, no matter who she was to you. 

Well your mom must be one smart lady. What girl doesn't love flowers. 

So Theo where did you have in mind to go for dinner? I guess I should of asked you, am I dressed okay, I can change and be ready in fi........

Wow Shailene, calm down. You look great, I was thinking we could just grab a pizza. I know of this great little pizzeria a few blocks from here.

I guess you could say I was a little nervous with all my rambling on. Oh okay pizza sounds great!

I grab a sweater and my hotel key and we head down to the elevator. As soon as we get to the parking garage, I see this huge tricked out Jeep. It is a deep green with dark tinted windows and looks way to tall for me to climb in.

I look at Theo  and laugh...This is a huge Jeep, You might have to toss me in, I don't know if I can climb in there. 

Theo just laughs at me.

We ride over to the Pizzeria without saying a word. Which is really out of character for me, since I love people and am always fascinated by another person's story. 

We are seated in the far back so we can't be disturbed.

So Theo asks me, "Who is Shailene Woodley?" 

I look him straight in the eyes like I'm dead serious, and lean in a bit... He looks so curious and then I say..."Who the f*** knows!" I start laughing and he begins to also.

Dammit Shailene he says, I thought you were gonna tell me some deep dark secret, the way you were leading me on!

I'm sorry Theo, first of all you can call me Shai. I prefer that anyway, sounds less serious.

 Let's see, I love to eat organic foods, I make my own shampoos, and toothpaste. I love drinking fresh spring water. Sometimes when I have time I like to go foraging for fresh herbs, roots, and stuff like that. I have a brother named Tanner. My mom, dad, and brother are my whole world.  I don't do social medi......I'm sorry am I talking to much, because I can shut up if you like? (nervous laughter)

Theo just looks at me with this curious look....

What Theo!? Why are you staring at me......

I'm sorry Shai, you just might be the most fascinating person I ever met.

With that comment my heart just melts. We finish eating and on our drive back to my hotel, I realize he hasn't told me one thing about himself.

Theo I say, I spent the whole evening talking and you have yet to tell me one thing about yourself, that totally isn't fair man.

He smiles, and looks my way, How about we do breakfast at my place and you can ask me as many questions as you like?

Deal, I say. He walks me up to my hotel room, and he gives me his address. I decide to go in for a hug to thank him for a great evening, boy was that not a smart move.

His smell was just hypnotizing.
