Time to spill

I'm shaking my head as I ride down the elevator. I'm not looking forward to having Ruth stay. Don't get me wrong she seems like a sweet person.

I just worry, what if I start dreaming again, and she hears me. What if Theo tells her about my dreams. I mean I'm a private person, and it takes alot for me to open up to people. Not to mention I don't want her thinking I'm trying to steal her man. Ugh...

The elevator door opens and I step out and head to the pool area. I go find Zo who is relaxing in the hot tub. I don't even get one foot in before she yanks me down wanting details.

She starts bombarding me with questions. What is she like, what did she say, was Theo with her? I just start laughing and tell her to calm down.

I proceed to tell her the whole story, how I thought someone was in the apartment, and how I screamed in her face. 

All the while Zo is just laughing. I tell her at first Ruth was kind of quiet but when I got knocked down by Theo in the elevator she seemed more friendly when she came out of the apartment.

Zo proceeds to tell me that was interesting, maybe she just felt awkward because of how you met. I shake my head in agreement.

Of course Zo asks me what she looked liked. I told her she was pretty, and thin, you know a lovely looking girl. She rolls hers eyes and tells me she needs better details.

I just laugh it off and tell her she can get those on her own. Zo is just looking at me, and I know she has something to say.

What Zo, i say..What is that brain of yours thinking. I can tell you want to say something. Zo hesitates but says well, I don't know if I should say anything. I mean it really isn't my place.

What! I say, I want to know. You can tell me anything. She sighs and says okay.

You and Theo..I cut her off and say what do you mean me and Theo. 

(ZOE POV)

Well how do I say this, you guys are just to cute together, I'm sort of bummed Ruth showed up or hell even existed.

Ever since I've started this movie, you guys just seem to fit, like you have known each other for a lifetime, you know.

The chemistry is just so natural between you two. I mean its like magnets, when he moves, you move (stolen from twilight series *wink)

The looks I see yall giving each other, when you think no one is looking. I'm not saying its sexual tension (hahahaha) I'm just saying its a look of curiousity, compassion, hell I don't know how to describe it, its just different.

I'm staring at Zo and I don't really know what to say. I could tell her what I've been feeling ever since I met Theo, or the dreams.

I mean it is nice to have some one to confide in. I can trust Zoe, she seems like a very loyal person.

I tell Zo, how I have something to say, and she promises she will be here for me always, and will keep  any secrets I tell her.

Zo ever since I met Theo,  I get anxious. I can't explain it, its like when he walked into the room the world just stopped.

I'm not just talking looks either. Don't get me wrong he is really handsome, but that isn't it. Its like... I don't know. I can't put it into words.

And not to mention I've been dream.....I mean um.

Zo cuts me off, and says sympathetically although I can tell she is bursting at the seems. Dreaming? What do you mean dreaming?

I proceed to tell her about my dreams/ i prefer that term than nightmare which what they really are considering how I wake up from them. 

I tell her how he actually woke me from one of them, and I basically had to tell him all about it. She gets real excited and asks what his reaction was.

I tell her how worried and sympathetic he was, how he didn't question why, and how he slept in my chair to make sure I was okay the rest of the night.

She is just grinning from ear to ear. All she says is , "Where did he come from and where can I get one." I just laught at her comment. She knows how to make me smile.

I explain to her, how he can already read me like a book. Its like I've known him forever. Maybe in another life we walked the same earth and knew each other. I mean it feels that way at times. 

Zo seems to notice my worry, and comes over to me, and tells me my secret is safe with her.

We decide its enough of the gossip and the heavy and decide to head up to my place to hang out. I personally think it is just an excuse to go be noisey. 

Be it from me to prevent her from her talents. Besides I don't mind it personally. It gives me the opportunity to find out info also without looking like the guilty party.

We are waiting for the elevator just laughing when the door opens and of course who do we see. Theo and Ruth.

Zo just gives me a quick glance, and Theo steps out and holds the door from shutting. I smile and say hey guys you heading out! 

Theo and Ruth both say yes at the same time and Zoe giggles, I elbow her and she just shrugs her shoulders at me.

I step up and introduce Zoe to Ruth, she shakes her hand and Zo says we must get together and have drinks so we can get to know each other.

I lean towards Ruth and jokingly tell her "Beware she is curious, and a bit noisey." Ruth just laughs and Theo is just looking at me with a small smile.

Ruth tells us she would love that, and we all say are goodbyes. We get into the elevator and Zo says, "Well that was interesting." We both just look at each other and start laughing. God I love this girl. She is gonna be one of my best friends. A life long friend.
