Until eternity

Giving In

I kiss Theo on the cheek and before I can pull away he stops me.

"Shai.." he whispers in my ear as our faces are side by side and our lips are so close, I can almost taste them.

Our breathing starts to increase and I all that comes out of my mouth is his name.

"Theo.." I feel a slight movement and before I know it our lips are locked. Theo is kissing me and I don't object this time.

Its not a mad passionate kiss, you know the one's you see in the movies but instead its a soft kiss.

 Our lips are moving slowly and carefully prolonging the inevitable. Its like we are exploring each other's lips and mouth carefully.

I'm lost in Theo's kiss as he reaches his hands around my waist to pull me closer. We release each other from the kiss and lock eyes.

I place my hand on his heart and he places one of his hands on my cheek. I lean into it and he slowly leans towards me again glancing from my eyes to my lips.

We are both hesitant to continue what we started, I know this because I see it in his eyes, and I can tell he sees it in mine.

Together we both begin to cry and we both reach to pull the other in for a hug. 

I whisper in his ear, "Theo what did we do?" I begin to cry harder and Theo comforts me in his arms.

"Shai, we will get through this. Together we will figure it out." 

The word "Ruth" is all that comes out of my mouth as I continue to cry into Theo's arms.

"SShhh baby" as all he says as e pulls me into his lap and begins to comfort me with his singing. 

"So this is it, I say goodbye to this chapter of my everchanging life." 

His voice is so comforting and I start humming the lyrics to his singing. He lifts me up and sets me on my feet. We begin dancing as he continues to sing to me. 

We are staring into each others eyes and the urge to kiss him builds and this time I go for it. I start kissing Theo and this time its full of longing and passion. 

I whisper "Theo" and he picks me up and carries me to my room. We are crossing a boundary I've always told myself I never would. 

It goes against everything I believe in, but right now in this moment I go against it all. He gently lays me on my bed and whispers my name as he lays next to me. 

We continue to kiss, and I put my hands under his shirt, exploring every inch of his chest and back. Our breathing intensifies the more I touch him and the more he kisses me. 

He pulls me to my knees and we are facing each other. We are staring at each other and he asks me, "Shai, what do you want?"

 I'm searching his eyes for a hint of regret, something to pull me back to reality because right now I'm wanting to cross a line we can't come back from.

I don't see it though, all I see in his eyes is longing. I realize in this moment everything I've been feeling about Theo he has been feeling about me to.

Again, he whispers, "Shai what do you want" and this time I whisper, "You, I want you..Theo" he smiles at me and pulls me in for a kiss. 

 I start to lift his shirt to pull it off and when I do he gently lays me on my back. Hovering over me, he whispers, "I think I've loved you from the moment I first laid eyes on you."
