Getting back to my house, I unlocked the door, stepping in and admiring its beauty. I had missed my home while I was gone. I took my bag upstairs, throwing all the clothes into the hamper for me to wash later. Going into my bathroom, I started the shower, stripping off my clothes. When I was done, I got out, wrapping a towel around myself and going over to my walk-in closet. I picked out an outfit, pulling it on before going downstairs to the kitchen, and grabbing a glass of blood. "If you wanted to know where I lived, you could've just asked instead of following me home," I called, going out to the living room, where Nik was sitting on the couch.

"Nice place you've got here, kitten," he commented as I set the glass down and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Thanks. It actually belonged to an elderly couple that I stayed with while I was here tracking Katerina down. I bought it when Elijah and I came into town. I assume you already gave yourself a tour of my home and that I don't need to provide one."

He shrugged, "an official tour would be nice." Rolling my eyes, I gestured for him to follow me as I walked into another room.

"You know, it's been more than six years since the last time we were alone together," he said nonchalantly as we walked through a small library and I turned to look at him.

"Has it really?" I asked, turning back around. He grabbed me by the waist, spinning me back around and pulling me close to him.

"We're alone now," he commented, moving closer.

"I-I don't think now is a good time," I stuttered, looking into his blue eyes. He brushed the hair away from my neck, bringing his head down to it and leaving light kisses.

"Are you sure?" He asked and I nodded my head, knowing my voice would give me away. "Well, then I guess I'll be going." He moved towards the front door, but I rushed over, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him against the wall, pulling his lips down to mine. His grip on my waist tightened as our lips moved together, hungrily. Lifting me up, he switched our positions, so that my back was against the wall and my legs were wrapped around his waist. My hands grabbed at his shirt, practically ripping it off of his body. My back slammed into another wall as Nik made his way back down my neck, causing a moan to slip out.

"You're going to break my walls," I told him, pulling my shirt off.

"Then let's break your bed," he muttered against my neck as my back hit the soft mattress. My fingers gripped the waistband of his pants as I pulled him closer, undoing the belt buckle. Pulling his pants off, he brought his lips back up to mine, working on the button of my shorts. As we finished undressing each other, I thought back to all the times that I had thought about doing this and how badly I had wanted him. Now here I was, getting my way.

All tangled up in sheets, I traced patterns on Nik's chest as he played with my hair. "I never got to thank you for pulling that hybrid off of me the other night. He probably would have eaten my face if you hadn't," I told him, lifting my head and resting it on the palm of my hand as I looked at him.

His eyes softened as he brushed his thumb across my cheek, "I would never let anything like that happen to you." Pushing myself up, I pressed my lips to his, feeling his hand slide down my back.

"You up for more?" I asked, pulling away slightly.

"I like the way you think, kitten," he smirked, rolling on top of me and kissing below my jawline. I let out a soft moan, my eyes fluttering shut. All of a sudden, a phone rang and Nik groaned, resting his forehead against my shoulder.

"Are you going to answer that? Or should I?" I asked as the phone kept ringing. Rolling off of me, he grabbed it out of the pocket of his jeans that were lying on the floor, answering it. As he talked, I got up, slipping my clothes back on. I felt two arms wrap around my waist and when I turned, I found Nik with his pants on, but no shirt.

"I should probably go; Rebekah's pouting again." I chuckled as he sat down on the edge of the bed to put his shoes on. Grabbing the rest of his stuff, he made his way to the door, but I grabbed his hand, stopping him.

"My door is always open, if you need me," I winked and he leaned down, pressing a kiss to my lips before going down the stairs and out the front door.
