"Kian! We gotta go!" I yelled up the stairs.
"Shut the fuck up Jc. We aren't gonna be late." Kian came to the top of the stairs and threw his shoe at me. It missed and hit the floor. I rolled my eyes, tied up my blue vans, and went to the kitchen for a snack before we left for Minnesota. I was packed last night, but Kian decided to be a dip shit and not pack until today.
"Hurry up Kian!! We have to be at the airport in an hour!" Kian came stomping down the stairs, suitcase in hand.
"Happy now?" He smirked.
"Let's go." Once we got to the car, I popped the trunk and shoved our suitcases in. I than went and planted my ass in the drivers seat next to Kian and we were on our way.Two hours later..
We just boarded the plane and got ushered to our first class seats. I heard a girl in coach scream Kian's name as we passed. Our seats were in view and the attendant was standing beside them with his arms directing us.
"I SHOTTY THE WINDOW SEAT!" Kian yelled and ran as fast as he could to the seat.
"NO FUCKING WAY!" I ran after him and stepped on his shoelace. He fell face first into the floor.
"Please no running or horse-play on this plane." The attendant that ushered us to our seats asked.
"Sorry ma'am." I said with the most southernest accent I could conjure up. She nodded her head and started to walk away. Kian was starting to get up, so I jumped over him and took the window seat.
"Bitch.. That hurt." Kian whined as he got up and sat in the aisle seat.
"Sorry man." I apologized as I slapped his arm playfully. The speaker system came on and told us to fasten our seatbelts. I couldn't find mine at first so Kian had to help.
"Thanks."I mumbled, as he passed me my seatbelt and I clipped it in. The plane started to take off and I started to feel sick. I've always hated planes.. They always made my stomach hurt.3 hours later..
I was watching Neighbors with Kian when we arrived in Minnesota. I couldn't wait to get off the plane and just go lay down.
"Kian you got an Advil?" I ask. He shook his head and almost fell to the floor.
"Woah man. Are you alright?" I put my hand on his shoulder to help him steady.
"Yeah.. I'm okay. Just a little woozy from the trip. Don't worry." I took my hand off his shoulder but I made sure I kept an eye on him, just in case.
"I called a cab before we left the house. There should be one waiting for us outside." We walked to the front doors while I clutched my stomach and Kian rubbed his temples. I saw a yellow cab so we walked up there see if it was ours.
"Are you Jc?" The driver asked as I opened the door.
"Yeah." I replied. The driver was Chinese male and he wore thick glasses along with a long sleeve red shirt and black skinny jeans. He looked maybe mid-thirties. I slid into the backseat and Kian followed me in.
"Where am I taking you?" He asked us politely. I turned to Kian. He had the paper which told us which hotel we were going to. He fumbled around in his pockets and pulled out a piece of purple paper.
"Hamilton Hotel on 68th and 176th." Kian instructed him. I rolled my eyes at his formality and stared out the window until we got to the hotel.
We got to our room and I plopped myself on my bed. Kian decided to run and dolphin dive, but he slid off and hit his head on the wall. I think he left a dent.
"Are you okay?" I ask laughing as I walk over to him and offer my hand to help him up.
"Yeah.. I'm good.." He took my hand and I pulled him up.
"Can we go get that Advil you were talking about?" Kian rubbed his head. I nodded and went over to my bed to throw my blue vans back on. Kian was already at the door, he never took off his black converse, only to sleep. We walked out the door and I locked it, depositing the key into the right pocket of my black jeans.
We walked for about fifteen minutes until we found a store.
"Stop and Shop" Kian read aloud. He was still rubbing his head from the previous accident. We walked in, and it kind of looked like a dump, but they did have the essentials.
"Tylenol... Aspirin... Advil! Here we go." Kian went to the till and paid for the Advil and I bought a Pepsi. All the coke had names on them and I couldn't find mine. We walked back to the hotel, but I noticed this little bookstore on the way, so I told Kian to go on without me. Kian has never liked books, bookstores, or anything to do with reading.
It was heaven in there.. There were so many books, they were stacked in every crook and cranny of the building. I was so astonished I almost fell over.
"Oh my god.." I said under my breath.
"Can I help you?"907;
