Nineteen

Elaine's POV:

"What's taking them so long?" I moaned childishly to Kian and Sammy. We were sitting in the hot spring waiting for Lindsay and Jc, they were supposed to meet us here but it's been fifteen minutes already. Kian laughed at me and Sammy scowled. "Oh.." I said as I finally realized what they were doing. A couple minutes later, I saw Jc walk through the double doors that led to the hot springs.
"Have fun?" Kian asked Jc as he approached us in his blue shorts and messed up hair. Jc smirked and sat down next to Kian, pushing him playfully.
"Where's Lindsay?" Sammy asked with urgency. He was always so protective, but I guess it would be weird to know your sister just fucked someone.
"She's coming, she should be here any minute... See." Jc pointed at the open doors as Lindsay came through. She was wearing a Harley Quinn tee shirt but you could see her pink bikini underneath it.
"Hey beautiful." Jc smiled at her as she sat on his left, she slipped her hand into his before planting a kiss onto his lips. I turned to Sammy, but he was so focused on Lindsay and Jc it was hard to talk to him.
"Sam? Are you okay?" I asked him, grabbing onto his hand. He whisked his hand away from mine and nodded his head. My heart sank, why wouldn't he hold my hand? Did I do something wrong? I rubbed my palms together and tried to pay attention to what Kian was saying, but I couldn't understand a word, I was way too focused on what was wrong with Sam. He couldn't be that protective of Lindsay, could he?

Jc's POV:

We were sitting in the hot springs and Sam kept staring at me like he was angry. I mean, I get it would be weird to see your sister hanging off another dude but, it's her life, and I really wanted to get up and punch him in the face.
"What's your problem?" Lindsay piped up from beside me, directing her question at Sam.
"I don't have one." He grumbled and looked away.
"Clearly you do." She fired back. I put my hand on Lindsay's thigh to send a silent signal to stop talking, when Sam suddenly stood up and walked back into the hotel leaving a trail of water behind him.
"That was weird." Kian muttered, we all nodded our heads in unison.
"I should probably go check on him." Elaine sighed and started to get up.
"Do you want me to go with you?" Lindsay offered. Elaine shook her head, smiled and walked into the hotel. I looked over at Lindsay, her hair was soaked and clinging to her body like glue, but she still looked so fucking hot. I was so busy staring at Lindsay, I didn't notice the stranger come into our area of the hot spring.
"Hey uhm, do you mind if I sit with you guys for a bit? My ex boyfriend is over there and uhm.. it's complicated. But may I please sit, just until he's gone." The girl was about Lindsay's age, she had bouncy blonde curls, blue ocean eyes and the cutest nose. She was wearing a pink with black polka dots bikini, and she was hot, I'd never say that out loud though.
"Yes of course! Sit!" Lindsay instructed the hot stranger girl. "What's your name?"
"Clary. And you guys?"
"I'm Lindsay, this is my boyfriend Jc and my best friend Kian." I shyly waved hi, trying to make it seem like I didn't care that she was there. I shifted uncomfortably when I realized I had a boner, I covered it with my hands nonchalantly. Lindsay was in a deep conversation with Kian and Clary when I saw Elaine coming towards us, she looked upset as she sat down next to Lindsay, eyeing the stranger with her swollen eyes and puffed cheeks.

Lindsay's POV:

"Elaine? Are you okay?" I asked as she sat down next to me, her brown eyes were full of tears. Elaine shook her head and opened up her arms for a hug, I complied and let her sob on my shoulder. "Shhh it's okay babe it's okay. What happened?"
"He's so over protective of you and he took it out on me, he always takes it out on me." Elaine sputtered, her body was shaking compulsively, she was so upset. I pulled away from her to look her in the eyes when I saw a bruise on her left shoulder.
"Did he do that to you?" I gritted through my teeth, staring at her shoulder. She didn't want to answer me, so I repeated the question with authority in my voice, "Elaine, did he do that to you?" I felt her body start to shake even harder and more tears flew out of her eyes as she nodded her head to my question. I clenched my teeth together and got out of the hot spring. "Kian stay with her please. I have something to take care of." I could feel my heart pounding through my chest, this is the last straw. My brother or not, he can't hurt my best friend, no way.
"Lindsay please calm down." Jc tried to tell me, but the blood rushing through my ears wouldn't let me listen to him, I stormed into the hotel and headed to Sam's room.
I knocked angrily on the door multiple times before it creaked open.
"Who is it?" A deep voice said from behind the door, I recognized it as Sam's sad voice.
"Who the fuck do you think it is? Let me in." The door opened wide revealing Sam in a plain black hoodie and blue jeans. I stepped through the doorway and got right up in his face, we were almost the same height so we were looking into eachothers eyes.
"You disgust me." I said through my clenched teeth before slapping him with all my might. His head reeled back and he clutched his now red cheek. "HOW DARE YOU HURT HER! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU! SHE'S SITTING IN THE HOT SPRINGS CRYING HER FUCKING EYES OUT BECAUSE OF YOU!" I spit the words at him like venom. Still clutching his cheek, he sat down on the foot of the bed with his sad eyes.
"I know. I'm stupid." Tears started to flow down Sam's cheeks like two mini waterfalls.
"No, you don't get to feel sorry for yourself." I grabbed his ear and pulled him up. "You're going to go down to the hot springs, apologize to Elaine, and than take her on a nice romantic date to make up for what you did. And for fuck sakes if you lose her because of your stupidity, you're going to be forever alone because you'll never find someone better than her. So get your fucking shit together." I let go of his ear and forcefully pushed him out the door and headed back down towards the hot springs.
