I was in the kitchen with my mom, she was cooking dinner and I was playing with my phone. "Did you know the Maslow's are coming over tomorrow?" Mom asked out of the blue.

"No, I didn't." I quickly looked up and then went back to my phone. It's not that it didn't interest me, I just didn't really know what else to say.

"Well they are and they're bringing James. You remember James, right?" She asked. I didn't like where this was going. Not that I didn't like James, he's a great guy but my mom could be so annoying sometimes.

"Yeah, I remember him. He's cool." I simply answered, knowing what is coming next.

"He's such a good guy, he's smart, sweet, loving and not bad looking either." She is trying to set me up with him, that's what I toughed.

"Mom, you know I have a boyfriend, right?" I asked, even though I was sure she knew.

"Yeah, Logan." She said with a disgusted face. "You know, sweetie, I don't think Logan is right for you."

"How do you know? You don't even know him." I quickly responded defending him.

"I know him good enough to know he's going to break your heart one day, which is why it's better for you to date someone like James." I can't believe she just said that, how can she be so harsh? Okay Logan is kind of the bad boy type, but bad boys are sexy, and when he's with me he's really sweet.

"Why can't you just accept the fact that we love each other?!" I yelled. I stormed out of the kitchen and ran up to my room. Tears filled my eyes. When I got there I slammed the door and called Logan.

"Hello?" I heard his voice on the other line of the phone say.

"Hey Logie." I said sad.

"Hi baby, what wrong? You sound sad." He asked concern. See Logan is sweet too, she really doesn't know him.

"My mom and I had some sort of fight." A tear rolled over my cheek but I wiped it away. "Can I come over?" I asked sweetly.

"Yeah sure." I could still hear some concern in his voice.

"Great. I guess I'll see you in a few, bye." I said quickly.

"Yeah, bye, I love you." See he's not going to break my heart, he loves me.

"I love you too." I said and hung up the phone. I changed my self in something more presentable since I was still in my sweatpants. I grabbed my purse and putted my phone in it. I quietly got of the stairs and went for the front door. I grabbed the doorknob.

"Where do you think you're going?" my mom asked from the end of the entry hall. I turned around.

"That's none of your business." I snapped at her.

"You're my daughter, so yes it is my business!" She yelled back at me.

"Well I'm going somewhere where you're not there to yelled at me or tell me who I should or should not date!" I was so pissed at her.

"And I say you're staying!" I really didn't want to be in the same house with her anymore, just for a while.

"I'm 19 I go where I want to go!"

"Not as long as you live underneath my roof!"

"Well maybe I should move out then!" I swung the door open and slammed it shut after I left. I got in my car and drove to Logan's. I rang the doorbell, it didn't take long for him to open the door and when he did I just wrapped my arms around him and cried onto his shoulder.
