-Flashback-

"Promise me you'll never leave." I say tightening the grip I have on him.

"I promise." He softly kisses my lips.

-End of flashback-

I guess he forgot about that promise because a few hours ago he took the airplane to L.A.. Leaving me here in Kansas. The rain was pouring hard, accurate for a sad day like this. I already miss him so much. A tear slips and rolls over my cheek. I love him. And now his gone. Forever. The sound of the doorbell brings me out of my thoughts. I slowly get up and open the door. "Kendall?" I say in disbelieve. This can't be true. I must be dreaming. Please, don't wake me up.

"I couldn't go." He's drenched because of the rain. He pulls me close to him and kisses my lips, causing me to get soaked too. I've always dreamed of kissing the guy I loved the most in the rain.

"Kendall, this is crazy. Opportunities like this come once in a lifetime."

"I'm crazy for you. Acting jobs will come and go, I hope, but there's no-one like you." He kisses me once more. "I love you [y/n]."  I pull him inside.

"I love you too." He kisses my again. I take off his white v-neck and pull away. I go to the bathroom and grab two  towels. He chuckles as I toss one of them in his face. I dry myself a little and go upstairs. I change and grab some clothes Kendall had left here. I go back downstairs and give Kendall the clothes. He changes without even bothering to go in the bathroom. "You know you could've gone to the bathroom."

"Don't acted like you didn't like what you saw." I blush. I had to admit I did kinda like what I saw. We go to the living room and sit on the couch.

"Are you sure you did the right thing?" He nods.

"I can't live without you." He kisses me and I position myself on his lap. I wrap my arms around him and lay my head on his chest.

"I know I shouldn't be saying this but I'm glad you didn't go."

"I promised I'd never leave you."
