#29 On stage with James. (for Vanessa)

I was watching the boys, waiting for them to finish their concert. James and I have been dating for over 3 years now and we're extremely happy together. They were now singing their last song, a mash-up of Big Time Rush and City Is Ours. "It's the only live we got so we gotta live it big time." They sang and then their show is over. They all jump on the trampoline once more and then they should be getting off stage, but they don't. In stead James brings his mic to his lips and says.

"Now before we go,there is one more girl I'd like to make extremly happy tonight. Hopefully." He looks in my direction. "Vanessa could you come on stage with me please?" I quickly shake my head. I saw Logan and Kendall come my way and I backed up a little. They each grab one of my arms.

"Oh, yes you could." Logan says smirking, while leading me on stage. We reached James and he puts an arm around me. I rest my hand on his back.

"You all know my girlfriend Vanessa, right?" The crowd cheered which made me blush. "We've been dating for over 3 years now and we're very happy together. And I'm sorry Maslovers but she's the one for me. So Vanessa." He faces me now and gets down on one knee. "Will you be my Mrs. Maslow?" He held up a black velvet box with a beautiful diamond ring. I was speechless and I couldn't help but let the tears flow.

"Yes." I finally spit out. A wide smile grew on James' face. He slipped the ring around my finger and his arms around my waist. He pulled me closer and kissed me passionately. My arms immediately went around his neck. There was cheering and booing but I didn't care, cause I had James and he is all I need. We parted and James wiped my tears away. I smiled. The boys came over and congratulated us.

*7 years later* James' P.O.V.

"Daddy!" My 5 year old daughter shouted as she saw me enter the house. I walk over to her and pick her up.

"Hey, baby doll." I kiss her cheek. "What'cha doing?"

"Watching a video." She giggled for no apperant reason. just out of happiness I guess.

"About what?"

"You and mommy." I put her back in the chair she was sitting in and look at the laptop screen. it said: 'James Maslow's on stage marriage proposal.' I smiled to myself. It's a fanmade video.

"Where is mommy?"

"Upstairs." She smiled her adorable smile. I kissed her cheek once more and went upstairs. Vanessa was in our bedroom putting clothes in our dressing. I went in.

"Hey gorgeous." I wrap my arms around her from behind. I place a gently kiss on her neck. "Our daughter is watch at a video of me proposing to you." I state.

"I know." She turn around in my grip and trows her arms around my neck. "I showed it to her." I chuckled.

"Why would you do that?"

"She's a girl, she's interested in such things."

"She's 5." I continued laughing. She shrugs. "Now come here cause i'm craving your lips."I pulled her closer to me and pressed my lips onto hers.

"Daddy!" I pull away from the kiss with wide eyes. I run downstairs. Yes I might be a little over protective but I don't care.

"What is it, baby girl?" Her face was serious.

"Do you love mommy?" I smiled.

"I do, with half of my heart." She gave me a confused look.

"Why only half?"

"Because the other half is for you." I kissed her temple and she smiled.

"I love you too, daddy." She gave me a tight hug.
