Chapter 2

Tobins POV

Beep! Beep! Beep
"Uggghhh" I let out a long groan as I sadly have to get out of my cozy bed and get ready for school. I know it's the first day and you're supposed to dress nice and all that jazz but, I really quite honest, I don't care, I don't have to look nice for anyone so I decide to dress comfortable and simple. Some black nike joggers and a baby blue shirt that has the word NIKE on it in white letters. After I get out my clothes, I head towards my bathroom to take a shower when I hear my phone ring a little. I go over to check it and I see that Hope texted me.

Hope:You ready for school again?

Me:Hell no, I wanted to sleep in today, what about you?

Hope: Same, but I also heard there's a new badass in town and she goes to our school

Me: Oh really? Well what's this girls name?

Hope:I think it's like Ashlyn Harris or something like that

Me:Well, she's no match for us and she better learn to be the badass in her own time cause there is only room for 2 badasses

Hope: I agree, also.. Have you heard.. From anyone?

Me:Dude, I told you I would tell you, you have to learn to trust me. I can handle myself

Hope:I know, I do trust you, I also need to look out for you tho.

Me:I know, but don't get too worried cause I'm fine, I better get ready, I'll see you soon

Hope: Alright, see you soon

And with that I put down my phone and hop into my shower. A lot of thoughts run through my mind and at this point I space out. 'I haven't heard from him in a while. I wonder what they're planning and all I hope is that it doesn't involve me.none of them have tried to contact me, but what can you expect when they basically kick you out for being who you truly are. I don't care about this anymore'

After standing in there for about 5 minutes, I turn off the water and start changing into my clothes. By now, it's 6:00 but I really don have to leave until 6:30. School starts at 7:05 and it takes me about 20 minutes to get there so I basically have 15 minutes to catch up with Hope until the first bell rings. While I wait for the clock to hit 6:30, I decide it wouldn't be a bad idea to make some breakfast, I put some waffles in the microwave and then eat until it's time to leave.

Finally, 6:30. Time to leave! I put on some shoes and grab my phone, keys, and book bag and then head for the door. As soon as I exit the door, I hear a couple girls laughing when one of them spots me and of course, it's none other than Samantha. I have no clue what she's doing here, she must be visiting one of her friends and giving her a ride so I decide to keep low and try and make it to my car without dealing with her drama. But of corse nothing goes as planned, as I start walking I hear her yell something.

" Oh look, it's the badass Ms. Tobin Heath, I'm surprised she's actually going to school today !" At this point I'm getting really annoyed but I try and keep my cool.

" Look here Samantha and the group, I don't have time for your Crap so just shut up and leave me alone before I shut all of you up myself." I turn around and leave, thankfully none of them say another word if not I would've lost it.

I make it to my car and start driving to school, it's only 6:50 so I still have a little time to spare. I walk in and immediately feel eyes on me.

Well, feels good to be back I guess...
