Chapter 30

*Time skip to 2 days before halloween so a month*

Tobins POV

It's been month since me and Alex started dating and it has been the best month I've ever had in like my whole life.

At first, Kelley was very skeptical about mine and Alex's relationship because she is my vice principal and what we're doing is pretty illegal, but she said that she's not going to stop us because as long as Alex and I are happy, that's all that matters and if we get caught, she said she doesn't know us.

Me and Alex have decided to hang out at my apartment for our 1 month since we both didn't really feel like doing anything, plus we were off until November 7th due to some school issues, so we decided to just relax. It was around 7:30 and we sat here for about an hour watching a couple movies.

I ordered us some pizza and were sitting on the couch watching a movie.

Alex was cuddled up to my chest and I kept smiling like an idiot, not really paying attention to the movie, but how much I've changed and how happy she makes me.

Occasionally she would look up and see me looking down at her but she would just smile and turn back to the movie.

The movie was almost over when she laid her head on my lap and just looked at me.

"Enjoying the view?" She asks giggling.

"Very much. Most beautiful view I have ever seen." I say causing her to blush and dig her head into my stomach.

"Tobyyy, you make me blush too much!" She whines but I can hear her laughing.

"I like making you blush, you look cute and it makes me feel accomplished in a way." I say laughing and she takes her head from my stomach and puts her head back in my lap.

"We should do something for Halloween." Alex suggests looking at the ceiling.

"Well there was a party that some kid was hosting but you can't go so I don't wanna go." I say and she frowns.

She sits up and looks me in the eye and I raise my eyebrow and tilt my head to show that I'm
Confused by her actions.

She looks at me and then sighs and looks down at her lap.

"Toby, I don't want to be the reason you can't go out and have fun. I feel like I'm like a cage to you and I'm preventing you from going out and having fun because we're not able to be seen in public. I knew that this was going to happen... Cause now because we're together we're not able to go out and have fun together and now you're not going out and having fun but instead your staying behind with me. Go to the party Toby, I want you to have fun." She says and I can tell that she feels guilty.

I cup her chin and make her look me in the eye so she can see I'm being sincere with my words.

"Lex, I don't feel caged, trapped, or bored being here with you. I love spending time with you cause that means I'm spending time with the most wonderful person and I wouldn't trade spending time with you for going out to a party and being surrounded by some horny drunk teenagers. I'd rather be here with you cause every moment I spend with you is special." I say giving her a warm smile.
