Chapter 51

Tobins POV
"Nooo! This game absolutely sucked! Those stupid Broncos cheated or something cmon!" Alex yelled as the game finally ended.

Hope and I decided to go team Broncos, (yes I know in the uswnt video Hope went for the panthers, but I'm changing it up)  while Alex and Kelley went for the panthers.

"Woohooo!!!" Hope and I cheered together giving each other a fist bump.

"You know what? This game was dumb. These refs obviously weren't making the right calls and I bet we would've won if the refs would've done their freakin job correctly." Kelley said angrily and Alex agreed.

"Babe, don't get mad because the Broncos are better." Hope said smirking and Kelley groaned.

"Don't get mad because you're sleeping on the floor then." Kelley snapped back and Hope looked at her in disbelief while I sat on the couch dying of laughter.

"Kel, are you serious right now?" Hope asked walking over to the couch Alex and Kelley were sitting at crouching down in front of her.

"Oh damn Hope, looks like you just got in trouble." I say and Hope turns her head glaring at me.

"Let's just go home. I'm pissed off but whatever. I'll see you later Alex." Kelley said hugging Alex and getting up walking past Hope.

"She can be such a struggle sometimes." Hope groans getting up and running after Kelley shutting the door behind her leaving Alex and I alone in her apartment.

"So, where are we going?" I ask and Alex glares at me.

"Shut up. I don't wanna talk about this." Alex says irritated.

Alex never liked losing, no matter what it was. A race, monop deal, or even stupid competitions like this.

"Are you really that upset over this?" I ask her walking over to the couch she was on and flopping down next to her.

She lays her head on my shoulder sighing then looking up at me.

"No. It's just disappointing to see the panthers lose something as big as this. Especially since they lost 10-24." She says pouting and I lean over kissing her to wipe that pout off of her face.

"How about we make another deal then?" I say when we pull away and she raises an eyebrow at me.

"I don't know, what would this one be?" She asks.

"You take us out for to eat for Valentine's, and I'll take us out another day for dinner." I offer and she smiles.

"You know you don't have to do that. I'm fine with me just taking us out you know?" She says and I nod.

"I know, but I can't stand seeing my baby girl upset. Plus I don't mind taking her out on another date so how about it?" I ask and she nods in approval.

"Deal." She says holding her hand out for me to shake and I smile at her but shake her hand.

I knew exactly what I was doing, and this was the first step of my wonderful plan.

Today was finally Valentine's Day and I was actually pretty proud of myself for the date I planned for Tobin and I.
