Chapter 39

Alex's POV

"Tobin I.... I'm willing to sacrifice my life if that means I get to stay with you. I've told you once and I'll tell you again, you mean the world to me and nothing will ever get in the way of that. You hold a special place in my heart and we will go through this together. We will tackle this together. And we're not alone, we have Hope, Ash, Kelley, and hell, we have Ali too. I don't care what your dad says because nothing will keep me away from you. I've lost and shattered you once, and I don't want any of us to go through that again." I say taking a deep breath.

She looks into my eyes completely shocked with my response but she gets up walking over to me pulling me up and into a bone crushing hug.

She picks me up a little bit allowing me to wrap my legs around her waist and I pull back leaning our heads against each other, lips a couple inches away from each other.

"Together. Nothing will break us apart. We will stay together no matter what happens. I promise I will always be here for you and I won't let him touch you when I'm around. He'll have to kill me before he can get to you." She says looking deep into my eyes and I can't take it anymore, I kiss her with so much passion not caring that Hope and Ashlyn were sitting right there. I pour all of my emotion into it proving that what I did yesterday was a mistake and that I will forever be here with her.

We kiss for a good few minutes until Hope clears her throat and Tobin pulls away turning around to face her.

"Sorry to break up the reunion, but I think we should go out, not partying or anything, but to have fun, to celebrate our friendships and relationships. To enjoy these moments with each other and create bigger bonds, cause who knows how long we have until he tries to ruin our lives." Hopes says and we all smile.

"I didn't know you could preach that well Hope." Tobin smirks and we all laugh.

"Shut up. I'm gonna invite Kelley, and Ash can call Ali. Where do you guys wanna go?" Hope asks and Tobin puts me down.

"I don't know, what do you guys think?" Tobin asks and Tobin goes to sit down on the couch and I take a seat on her lap.

"Oh I know! I know! Kelley owns a log cabin in I forest not too too far from here, we used to go all the time cause there were so many squirrels there and she was in love with them. We can go there." I suggest and they all smile in agreement.

"Ok, I can ask Kelley right now. But, what do I say if she wants to know why?" Hope asks and Tobin sighs.

"We're all gonna become pretty much family. All 6 of us, so I think it's okay for Ali and Kelley to know about my past. I trust them." Tobin says boldly and I smile at her kissing her head.

"So, um, I bought muffins and stuff for breakfast and I really don't want it to go to waste, can we eat now?" I ask and they all laugh.

"Gladly" they say at the same time and we all laugh at that.

We all started packing because Kelley said she was actually on going soon anyways so we decided to go there tomorrow  and stay there for a while. But we haven't decided if we wanted to spend Christmas there yet but we packed enough clothes just in case we did.

Kelley said the cabin was already stocked with enough  food, drinks, and supplies for everyone. Her cabin was pretty huge and I kind of missed going there. The only thing I didn't like, was that it took and hour and a half to get there. I wasn't a big fan of long drives.
