Chapter 52

Omg hey guys. Extremely sorry I haven't updated for weeks. I just have so much going on, umm I'm not gonna put my personal life on here, but I just had so much going on and I'm extremely sorry for not updating, but here's the next chapter.

Time skip-March 29th

Tobins POV
Today was finally the day of Alex's and I's 6 month anniversary. I personally, have never been more happier in my life than I have been with her.

I had the whole day set up for her and I, this was going to be hopefully one of the best days in my life.

Ever since I bought that promise ring for Alex, I've been extremely anxious to propose it to her.

I have a little bit of a speech prepared for her, but I'm gonna try to speak more of what my heart says when I propose the ring to her.

Right now it's 6 o'clock, I set up a dinner date on the rooftop of Alex's favorite restaurant. I thought this would be a pretty spectacular date so we can still see the beautiful stars. Plus it's spring break, so it shouldn't be too cold out, so there's no better time than now.

I was going to reserve a table indoors, but we still can't be seen in public... yet.

I'm dressed in white skinny jeans, a black short sleeve button up, with some black vans and my hair down in my natural wavy style.

I told Alex i would come and get her around 6:30 so I decided to check to make sure that I had everything ready for our date tonight.

I had my wallet, keys, my phone, the rose for Alex, and most importantly, the ring.

I pulled out my phone looking for my baby girls contact and texted her that I'm on my way now.

Me: Hey babe, you ready? I'm on my way if you're ready

Alex: Yeah, come whenever you're ready ;)

Me: Alrighty, I'm on my way. Cant wait to see you beautiful :)

Alex: Can't wait to see you either :) Drive safely

Me: I will. Be there in a few, I love you💗

Alex: I love you too💗

I put my phone in my pocket along with my wallet and the ring and grab the rest of the stuff and head to my car.

As soon as I get there, I grab the rose from the backseat and take a deep breath trying to calm my nerves before walking to Alex's door.

I knock on it and after a couple seconds, I hear footsteps walking towards the door and then the door swings open and I gasp taking in the beautiful woman in front of me.

She's dressed in a black dress that stops right above the knees, it straps around her right shoulder and she has her hair in a beautiful ponytail with her ends curled. She wears a little bit of make-up (she looks beautiful even without makeup tho) and a pair of earrings I bought her along with tan heels.
