Can this be?

Chapter 9

Tobins POV

"Yeah, you're right, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Ms.Morgan." I say as I wave and exit out of her room.

That went way better than expected. Usually in a moment like this (at least in the movies), I would've expected her to freak out and yell at me to leave and stuff like that. But thankfully, she took that way better than expected, hell, she even kind of said she liked me! But I mean, again, I am pretty irresistible so I don't blame her. I walk out to my car and start to head to my apartment.

As soon as I get to my apartment, I immediately drop all of my stuff and text Hope.

Me: Guess who's got a date, on Saturday!

Hope:No way dude. Already?! With who?!?

Me: Try our new vice principal as bad as that sounds ;)

Hope: Ms.Morgan?!? Damn. You sure it's a date? I mean you know she can get fired for taking a student out on a date. :-/

Me:Fine. I guess it's not a date but she's taking me out for lunch... A get together I guess.

Hope:And what did you do to deserve that? You're not the best student. What good did you do this time? :-|

Me: Um, shut up! You should actually be happy for me. And I got her out from being trampled by the idiots in my class, so as a reward she's taking me out for lunch on Saturday. She also gave me a $10 Starbucks card... Do you want it? I'm not gonna go to Starbucks anytime soon.

Hope:Wow, you lucky son of a bitch. But just remember, you ain't getting none ;-) also no, but I'll ask Ashlyn.

Me:Hey, who said I wanted some?

Hope: Nobody, I'm just saying. And Ashlyn said to use her exact words, she said "Yassss #mywhitegirlsideiscomingout" :-/ Lol. Also I'm gonna go. See ya!

Me: Ha! Alright I'll give it to her tomorrow, see ya!

I set my phone down and look at the clock. 7:00, seriously, where does the time go! I hop In the shower, eat dinner, and get into bed slowly drifting to sleep,

Time skip to the next day!

I walk into school feeling slightly... Happier? I usually hate the mornings but something felt different about today. Like something was going to happen, and I don't know how to feel so I guess I felt happy.

I walk down the long hallway turning a few times before I find my way to hopes locker but not before bumping into Ms.Morgan.

"Oh! Good morning Tobin" she says as she recovers from almost spilling her coffee.

"Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you, but good morning!" I say flashing her a smile.

"no worries," she says with a shrug " I was actually going to tell you this at lunch but now that I ran into you, can you come by my office so we can talk about Saturday before I go to Mrs.Doorman's room for detention. Nobody else wanted to do it so me being me, I decided to be the kind soul I am and I have it for the next 2 weeks!" She says with a laugh. I can't help but laugh along but then I wonder if she's gonna cancel.

"Yeah, of course I'll come by, are you gonna cancel?" I ask hoping that she says no.

"No! Of course not! I just wanted to make sure everything was set." I sigh, thankful that she wasn't canceling.

"Alrighty, I'll come by later. Nice seeing you." I say as I wave and finish my walk to hopes locker.

Another time skip. This time to lunch!!!

Another boring day so far, just talking about more rules and stuff but today, I had a certain brunette on my mind all day which helped the day go by faster. Finally, the bell rung signaling it was time to go to lunch. I wait for everyone to pass by me so I don't have to deal with the trouble of pushing people out my way.I was planning to go to lunch but my plans were ruined as I feel someone bumping into me and another person yelling at me from behind. I turn around and find Eric was the one yelling and someone who I'm guessing was one of his friends was the one who bumped into me.

Here's a little background about me and Eric. He's had it out for me ever since his girlfriend, Jolene, decided to dump him and right after she did that, she slept with me. He's blamed it all on me saying that I was the one who convinced her and stuff but honestly, I didn't know the girl too well. All I knew was she was going out with Eric, was a cheerleader, and she was one of the popular people. This year, she found a new boyfriend, is still a cheerleader, and is still popular. I guess people didn't care cause of 4 main reasons.

1. It was a 1 time thing that she slept with me.

2. Eric was a douche, and he still is actually.

3. Every year, she throws these parties, at least 3, and honestly they're pretty badass. Me and hope go to every one of them every year.

And 4. She's good looking.

I try my hardest to stay away from Eric. He's one of the players for our schools football team. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, about 5"10, and he's buff, Like it's ridiculous how muscular he is. He's pretty much every girls dream guy, except for the douche part. He likes to flirt with every girl possible and picks on pretty much every nerd in the school. Technically, yes, I do that too but I don't flirt with every girl, I just hook up with them if they come to me, there's a difference. And I'm not as much as a bully as he is, he'll pick on everyone as much as possible. So all in all, he's worse than me. And he doesn't even get in trouble for it but me on the other hand, I get in trouble for almost everything, but at the same time, I don't really care. I don't play sports and I don't have family so I can't loose anything and I won't get In trouble for anything.

Like I was saying tho, he and his friend decided they wanted to mess around with me. And if there's one thing I've learned to never, EVER do, is back down, from anyone.

Authors note- Hey guys! Hope y'all are enjoying the story. This one was kind of more of a filler chapter and I promise, tomorrow's chapter will get. Interesting.
