Ashton wanted to leave and get over with this place, with Luke. To go on his own and decide on what to do next, to kill himself or hide until something will just happen.

But his body refused to let him. He was suffering once again and this time it caught him in Luke's back yard, his chest heaved with every breath he took in attempt to calm himself and his arms burned, giving him the feeling that he might explode.

He fell on his knees and then screamed again when another wave of warmth attacked him. It last that way for over an hour that and when it was finally over and his body got a break from the pain, he stared at the skies exhausted and tired.

That was it, he felt like if another creature won't murder him, then the pains in his heart will. He thought about his parents, and Liam and all the humans that died and he knew he should die, because there was no way he could carry it with him for the rest of his life. It was all too fresh and painful for him to even consider keep living and fight for a better life.

When Luke stepped outside, something woke up inside of him and he had no idea how, but he was pressuring Luke against a tree in just a split of a second. Luke let him because he wanted to see where it will go, if Ashton had the urge to bite and feed from blood as well.
But Ashton just stared at him and then took a step back, another heavy breathe leaving his lips and making Luke sigh.

"Stop looking so miserable all the time."

"Shut up."

"It won't stop if you won't lose it, maybe you have the urge to drink blood as well."

"I don't. I'm not a monster."

"Right, you a hybrid. And that's worse."

"I'm going."

"Go." Luke shrugged but didn't really mean it because a second later he was on top of Ashton, pinning him to the grass.

His lips hovered over his pale neck and Ashton felt the burness once again and with them came the heavy breathes.

"Your blood is so good."

"Get off." Ashton gritted out.

"Make me."

And then Ashton screamed again. He ignored Luke and the fact he wanted to attack him a second ago, and just screamed when he felt the burning sensation crawling up his chest.

Luke lifted his shirt up and frowned at how red Ashton's stomach became. He never saw something like that befor and now it got him even more curiouse about what the boy really is.

"I'll do you a favor and take you to a guy I know."

"So he could kill me?"

"No. So he could tell us what you are."

"I don't care."

"I think that's the way to get you out of here anyway, you're not capable to leave or seemed to be doing it any time soon."

"What is this place?"

"Don't tell me you're afraid of the dark."

"I'm not."

"Luke Hemmings." A young man came closer to them and Ashton heard for the first time Luke's last name.

The room was dark but not dark enough for Ashton not to see a thing, his eyes adjusted quickly and he could see the room clearly now.

"Rey." Luke flashed a smile.

"What do you need?"

"A favor."

"Of course, you only come when you need something."

"I thought they killed all the humans." His eyes then fixed on Ashton.

"And I thought you're better then this. He's no human."

"This boy? Not human?" He came closer to Ashton and Ashton fought the urge to step back. The young man stood infront of him and then his eyes turned red as he stared at Ashton.

He sniffed and placed his palm on Ashton's chest, feeling his heart beat.

"He has heartbeats." Rey looked at Luke.

"So do werewolves. You can do better then that." Luke spoke and made Rey stare at him for more then a few seconds. Ashton could tell that it was some kind of a private joke but he just shoke himself and made Rey drop his hand.

Rey turned back to look at Ashton again and then motioned him to lay on the couch in the corner of the room.

Ashton hesitated, makimg Rey glare at him, "Do you want to know what you are?"

He laid on the bed and soon felt two bodies shadowing above him, a hand was placed on his forehead and he closed his eyes.

And then he felt the sharp pang, as if someone is digging in his head and searching for something.

It was powerful and Ashton opened his eyes with a gasp.

"It can't be."

"What?" Luke asked.

"There's no way he is what I think he is."

"What is it?" Luke urged.

"He has an immortals blood. But immortals stopped existing long time ago."

"So maybe you're confusing." Luke stared at Ashton, who felt his gaze and pulled himself to sit.

"Give me his blood, and I'll tell you for sure."

Luke looked at Ashton for a few seconds befor disappearing further into the room and leaving Ashton with Rey.

He came back a few moments later with a small knife and a small cup, he placed the cup on the table and motioned Ashton to give him his wrist.

"I can just bite you, but if I'll start I won't be able to stop." Luke muttered and Ashton prefered him to cut his wrist then to bite him.

He did a small cut along Ashton's wrist and let the blood drop to the cup.

Once a few drops were in and a thin line filled the cup, Ashton pulled his wrist and pressed with his other hand on the cut, stopping the blood.

"I'll call you when I'll have an answer."

"Lets go." Luke stood up and Ashton followed behind.

"Lucas."

"Yeah?" Luke turned to look at Rey.

"I wouldn't go outside with him."

"Don't worry." Luke called befor leaving the house.

Ashton still held his wrist and when they were far enough Luke led him into alley and took his wrist. It was hard for him to resist and the second the smell hit his nose, he knew he will feed from him soon.

He pinned the injured wrist to his mouth and Ashton was just stunned, he never saw Luke's face when he bite him and he didn't know that he hardly uses his fangs after he makes two hols. Luke sucked and Ashton watched, not fighting this time.
