"I'm not cold anymore, you get how cool that it?" Ashton smiled with shock and Luke pretended to be shocked as well.

He stood in the snow, shirtless and watched as it kept snowing down.

"Maybe soon you won't need food too."

"But I don't feed from blood."

"And you're half human. Forget I said that."

"Liam barely ate in the shelve. Now that I think about it."

"I'm sure it was because of the food."

"It wasn't that bad." Ashton glared at him.

"Ever seen a frozen lake before?"

"No."

"That that's somethings worth seeing. Well go to the north, now that you don't feel cold."

"Where?"

"I have a place there, you're gonna love it."

"Is thus your original house?" Ashton walked back to the porch now.

"Not my favorite place to be. It's isolated, but it's good for you."

"Where do you live then?"

"Up town. Where everything happens."

"I had cold chill now." Ashton confirmed.

"I told you."

"I'm going to take a shower." Ashton walked inside.

When he was done, he walked out to the room and sat on the bed, drying his hair. Luke cut it shorter two days ago and now it didn't cover his eyes.

He left the room and walked to where Luke was, in the biggest room. He crawled on the covers beside him and watched the TV that was on.

After half an hour Luke left the bed to smoke, opening the window and letting a cold wind inside.

"Now I'm cold." Ashton mumbled.

"Really?" Luke frowned.

He walked to the bed and was about to lay but stopped.

"Your eyes Ashton," Luke moved his curls aside.

"What?"

"They're swollen."

"Really?" Ashton blinked and felt how the action turned heavier.

"I'm tired." He shrugged.

"You're always tired. And it's never like that."

"Maybe I catched a cold. I'm sure I'll be gone in the morning."

"All you care right now is sleep isn't it?"

"I feel fine."

"You better." Luke left the bed and let Ashton fall asleep by himself.

He walked down to find the books Rey gave him and started scrolling them, But beside mentioning that Immortals sickness is rare there were no other information.

He killed Rey so answers won't be find there anymore and he decided to let it go for now.

When Ashton woke up in the middle of the night he couldn't go back to sleep and he placed his head on Luke's chest, watching blankly at the TV that was left open.

"What are you watching?" Luke frowned at old movie, a thing he hated the most.

"Rodeo something."

Luke turned off the TV and looked at him now, kissing him gently and then shifting to face Ashton.

"I thought these movies are from your time."

"Funny." Luke brushed his fingers on Ashton's cheeks, where it seemed like he swollen too.

"I'm not tired anymore."

"Me neither."

Ashton kissed him lightly and Luke pulled him underneath him, darting his hands all over Ashton's body, flowing when he felt something different.

He kissed his stomach and then looked up at him.

"What?" Ashton frowned.

"You're swollen Ashton, your face,"

"Ok maybe I catched a cold-"

"No look," Luke left the bed and came back with a small mirror.

"You're.. it looks bad." Luke sighed.

"I.. see but I don't feel sick." Ashton absorbed his face, they were a bit swollen bit what stood out was his eyes, even the eyelids seemed to swollen by now.

"It's not just that. It's in your stomach and chest, arms-"

"What?"

"I know your body Ashton, it's not the same thing, I feel different touch."

"You think I'm dying?" Ashton stared blankly and Luke chuckled.

"No. Does death always on your mind?"

"I guess. What's wrong then?"

"Your body is swollen, maybe too many liquids or something. I'll ask a guy I know."

"No. You'll kill him afterwards."

"There's no other option-"

"Luke please."

"Fine. Let me take care of it."

"No, It's fine. I'm fine." Ashton pulled himself to sit and turned on the lights.

He walked into the bathroom and absorbed himself in the mirror, Having Luke standing behind him a moment later.

"Look," Luke pointed at Ashton's hips.

"There's noting."

"You're not gonna see it. You're not a vampire."

"I see my face, the rest is fine."

"Maybe you're trying to tell me I'm fat." Ashton met his eyes through the mirror.

"I wish you were fatter." Luke kissed his shoulder.

"Maybe it will pass by and that's it." Luke spoke and Ashton turned to look at him.

"Right," Ashton chuckled and wrapped his arms around him, kissing him lightly.

"I need you healthy." Luke mumbled as he pushed Ashton against the wall and wrapped his arms around his waist.

"I like you chubby." He kissed him and Ashton leaned on him.

"I am chubby. But your food is awful."

"I haven't used the kitchen for over a century."

"Still." Ashton shrugged.
