"I'm hungry."
"Again?"
"Its been a day." Ashton glared at him.
"Fine." Luke sighed and stood up.
He made his wat to the front door, figuring the best option is to leave Ashton in the house.
But then he gave in a second thought.
Ashton didn't want to live and he could have possibly try something while Luke is out.
So he turned around and glared at Ashton without saying anything.
"I'm not going."
"Get dressed."
"Forget it."
"I'm not in the mood for this."
"Neither do I."
"Its either you're coming with me or I'll call someone to come and watch over you."
"Call someone."
"Fine. But he's not going to be nice. And he might do more then biting."
"You're just trying to scare me."
"I'm simply letting you know,"
They both glared at each and none of the boys seemed to give up.
"Don't make me drag you."
"Don't make me use my powers." Ashton retorted.
"Don't be so arrogent, you're still not stronger then me."
"I can still explode your house."
"Fine. I won't bring you food." Luke crossed his arms over his chest.
"Then I'll starve to death."
"Okay." Luke shrugged.
He then walked toward Ashton and sat beside him on the couch. Ashton ignored him and turned to look at the window but he could feel Luke staring at him and he fought himself to sit still and not let it show that he was uncomfortable.
"Stop that." He gave up and turned to glare at him.
"What?"
"This. Leave me alone."
"This is my house. And its been a while since I fed from you."
"You're not biting my neck anymore." Ashton spoke determinedly.
"Excuse me?" Luke couldn't hold the surprise on his face.
"You heard me. You have to ask me first and only from my wrist from now on." This time Ashton was the one crossing his arms.
Luke stared at him for a few seconds and couldn't believe what he was hearing, it wasn't long befor he started laughing, making Ashton roll his eyes.
"I'm seriouse."
"I can see that."
"Its wrong. Humans don't just exist to serve your disgusting needs. They desrve to choose."
"You're not human."
"I'm not talking about me. How could you all just..." Ashton stood up and a frustraited sigh left his lips.
"What? Kill all the humans?"
"Yes. It wasn't your right." Ashton spoke more quielty now, feeling the pain creeping into his chest again.
"Life is cruel. I thought I already told you that."
"Who said vampires needs to roll them?"
"Because we're stronger. And in the nature, only the strong survive."
"I hate this. I hate you."
"That's not new."
"And I'm going to kill myself. The second I'll have a chance."
"That's not new either."
"You don't get to decide for me. This is my life."
"Like I said, the stronger survive."
Ashton didn't say anything else as he kept staring at Luke and it was visible how emotions filled his brown eyes again, making Luke sigh,
"Jus't dont cry or something."
Ashton walked upstairs and Luke wanted to punch himself.
Not because of the fight, it was because of the look in Ashton's eyes that made him regret and feel bad. He wanted to punch himself even more for feeling like that, he was never like that and he didn't planned on changing.
He ignored the feeling in his cold chest and after an hour of leaveing the boy alone, he climbed upstairs and found Ashton sitting on the bed and reading the book he took from Brandon. He was sitting with his legs crossed and the book rested opened infront of him.
"Found something interesting?" Luke walked into the room.
Ashton didn't reply and Luke fought the urge to roll his eyes, "You're seventeen right? So act like it." Luke sat on the bed as well.
He felt the urge to make him feel better but he knew he would never do something like that on purpose
"Ashton?" Luke looked at him and it took Ashton a few moments but he turned to look at him as well as a respond.
"Can I feed now?"
It caught Ashton by surprise and his lips parted lightly without him noticing. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, he nodded and fought the smile.
"Only because you asked." Ashton scooted closer to him and handed him his wrist.
Luke chuckled and grabbed Ashton's wrist. He had no idea how the words slipped from his mouth but apparently the urge to make Ashton feel better won his character.
He dipped his fangs in Ashton's skin and Ashton hissed at the pain, he fought the urge to pull his wrist from Luke's mouth and he managed to stay still.
Ashton's body became slack beside Luke and when Luke finally released his wrist, he didn't waste any second in leaning back and laying on the bed. He felt the diziness as he stared at the ceiling and he didn't bother looking at Luke, who took a hold of his wrist and healed the two holes he created.
