Ashton coughed again and felt how his body floated with heat. He kept his eyes close while praying in his heart nothing will happen today. It was daylight outside and almost noon but Ashton still haven't left the bed, from the moment he woke up. He took in another sharp breath and tried staying calm. Usually when the heat attack him, he feels the need to cool off. But not this time, he was cold and under the blanket. It was raining outside and the room was cold as well and despite the warmth that attacked him, he could still feel the cold.

Things bothered his mind all night and the fact he dreamed the dream he had didn't helped. He wanted to cry because he felt so weak and he missed everything but he didn't want Luke to see him crying.

"What's up with you today?" Luke walked into the room and finally caught Ashton awake. Earlier when he walked into the room severel times, Ashton was sleeping.

"I don't feel good."

"What's wrong?"

"Everything." Ashton kept his eyes closed.

"I'm not in the mood to your depression, Ashton." Luke sighed.

"So leave me alone."

"Are you burning?"

"I just want to be alone Luke," Ashton shut his eyes tighter.

Luke pursed his lips and then left the room, he wasn't the patient type and despite feeling something toward Ashton he couldn't bring himself to change his ways.

He walked downstairs and it wasn't long befor he climbed back upstairs because he heard Ashton throwing up.

Ashton didn't make it to the bathroom and he throwed up mainly water on the floor.

He was on his knees and clutching his stomach tightly.

Once he was done Luke pulled him to stand and led him to the bathroom.

"Its probably because you need to eat."

"I'm not hungry." Ashton shoke his head.

"When was the last time you ate?"

"In the morning."

"Yesterday?"

"Two days ago." Ashton leaned on the wall for support.

"You have a human part in you, you can't just stop eating. Besides I'm pretty sure immortals eat normally too."

Ashton didn't say a thing and Luke sighed. Despite what it looked like recently, Luke was the type to enjoy and not to take care and he liked Ashton's present because he got to bite him and kiss him whenever he wanted. But it came with helping Ashton a lot and his powers were draining him. There were days he was weak and didn't want to talk or even see Luke.

"Can you go out?" Ashton whispered after a few mintues of them both standing in silent.

"Why?"

"Because I want you to." Ashton looked at him now.

"What's up with you?"

"Don't start Luke," Ashton sighed and let his head fall again, making his hair cover his eyes.

"Fine. Take your shower." Luke pursed his lips and left the room. He slammed the door and Ashton winched, he knew he made Luke mad but he didn't care. When he had those days all he wanted was peace.

He took off his clothes and quickly took a shower, finding it harder then he expected it to be at that moment. Twenty minutes later he was laying in bed again, the covers on the floor and taking heavy breathes.

The door was pushed open and Luke watched as his chest rised and fell slowly. The room was cold but Ashton was burning and he wanted nothing more then to feel cold right now.

In some point Ashton fell asleep and Luke stood outside, drinking a bottle of blood.

Ashton woke up sweating and he had no idea what else he can do to keep himself cold. All the windows in the room were opened and he didn't use any covers. He stumbled out of bed wearing only a sweat pants and left the room.

He walked to the living room and when he found no sign of Luke he climbed back upstairs. He opened a few doors and then reached an open one in the end of the hallway. The room was alot bigger then the other rooms in the house and Ashton found Luke standing beside the huge window and smoking a cigarette.

"Can you lay with me?" Ashton spoke and caught Luke's attention. Luke turned to look at him and after a few moments tossed the cigarette out of the window.

"Feeling warm again?" Luke asked and Ashton nodded. Luke motioned him to go on the bed and Ashton climbed on it slowly. Luke took off his shirt and climbed beside Ashton.

At first Ashton just laid and let their shoulders touch but then he felt like he needed more.

"Can you turn your back to me?"

"You sure about that?" Luke joked and Ashton smiled weakly.

Luke turned his back to Ashton and he let his cheek rest against Luke's bare back. He let out a contect sigh and moments later he wrapped his arms around Luke's torso.

Ashton fell asleep quickly and Luke could feel his steady pulse against his own cold back.
