"Aren't you bored?"
"Bored?" Ashton turned to look at him.
"Yes, bored. You've been here for a month."
"I don't have a reason to go out."
"That's because you don't know what's outside."
"I prefer staying here."
"I can protect-"
"Liam said it too. But then a wolf attacked him and he couldn't sense it on time."
"Liam is not a vampire."
"I'm tired anyway," Ashton shrugged.
"I see." Luke hummed.
Ashton kept staring at the ceiling but he had the feeling that Luke was planning something so he glanced at him once more.
"What?"
"Nothing." Luke shrugged.
"Liar." Ashton pulled himself to sit.
"Liam told me your father identity." Luke stayed blank.
"My biological father," Ashton currected him, "And?"
"And he looks nothing like you."
"Liam looks like him?"
"Yes."
Ashton wanted to ask more but he wanted nothing to do with him and he prefered knowing less as possible. He laid back on the floor and kept staring at the ceiling. He didn't want to have another wave of warmth and felt like it was about to start, so he immediately laid on the cold floor of the living and stared at the ceiling, doing that for about an hour now.
"I met him, you know."
"Liam?"
"No. Your father."
"When?" Ashton turned to look at him.
"Long befor you were born. He did a good job in camouflaging himself."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that at that time, I didn't even suspected him. He's probably using something to help him fit in."
"Maybe he just stays home all the time."
"No, I met him at a bar."
"But its pretty incredible, an immortal who survived for more then twenty years if not more." Luke spoke again.
"You met him twenty years ago." Ashton raised his eyebrows.
"Something like that. His name is Caius."
"Caius?" Ashton repeated.
"He doesn't look like the father type, I don't see why Liam wants you to meet him."
"Are you talking to Liam?" Ashton sighed.
"He talks to me." Luke smiled.
"I don't want to meet any of them,"
"Okay,"
"Why do you have to talk to Liam anyway?" Ashton muttered.
"I keep him update about you." Luke joked but Ashton still turned his head to look at him and a seriouse expression on his face.
"I'm kidding."
"Well you're not funny."
"I knew him befor you came anyway."
"You did?" Ashton pulled himself to sit.
"Yes. Everyone knows everyone around here."
"Were you friends?"
