"Are you pretending to sleep?" Ashton whispered and Luke smiled but still stayed quiet. His back was facing Ashton while Ashton trailed his fingers on Luke's broad back and draw houses and all kind of animels using his fingernail.

The bed was warm and comfortbale and Ashton didn't want to leave it, especially because of the stormy weather outside.

But he was bored and they were laying quietly for over an hour.

"I think you're tricking me." Ashton pulled himself up and peeked behind Luke's shoulder.

"Luke," Ashton laughed when he saw the corner of Luke's lip moved upwards.

Luke shifted on his back and Ashton moved away from him and then got out of the bed.

"Are you tired?" Ashton walked to the window.

"No."

"Does it make you stronger if you sleep?"

"No." Luke pulled himself to sit.

"When will I won't need sleep?"

"I don't know. I never met an immortal befor." Luke stood up from the bed as well and Ashton returned his gaze to window, feeling uncomfortable to stare at Luke's almost naked body.

Luke walked to the bathroom and Ashton walked to the mirror while taking the beanie from the floor. He tied his hair back and then walked downstairs to eat something.

Even though he didn't dreamed tonight, his sleep was still tensed and included a lot of shiftings and waking up. He was scared to go back to sleep and have Caius take over his mind again.

He gave up on eating and instead walked to the living room, slumping on the couch.

"Had a dream?" Luke walked downstairs as well, wearing a sweatpants.

"No."

"Good."

"I need to learn how to block him."

"Maybe you can use Liam." Luke suggested and recived a death glare from Ashton.

"Just kidding." Luke muttered.

"Did you-"

"No. And he hadn't called."

"He's mad." Ashton crossed his arms over his chest.

Luke was about to reply but then he looked at the door and made Ashton frown.

"Go upstairs."

"Who is it?" Ashton stood up.

"Just a friend. I'll send him away but you still have to go upstairs."

Ashton climbed upstairs and crawled back into the warm bed.

It Luke more then a minute to send his friend away and by the time he did, Ashton drifted back to sleep.

He frowned in his sleep as he grabbed the bed sheets, he could feel someone drawing him and trying to pull him but he resisted and this time, he was stronger.

But not strong enough to wake up.

A small unnoticeable whimper left his lips as he tried resisting harder and stay ground, he could feel the strong present putting more force and trying to force Ashton to obay him.

"Ashton." Luke sat beside him on the bed and placed his hand on Ashton's shoulder. He could see something was wrong by the way Ashton frowned and how hard his body was, as if he was trying to stay stuck to the bed.

"Hey, wake up." Luke started shaking him and he felt the resistance in Ashton's body, understanding he felt something he shouldn't feel.

"Ashton!" Luke grabbed his cheeks and shouted his name louder now.

By now Luke already realized that Ashton was probably fighting for himself in a dream his father created again. He placed his palm on Ashton's heart and closed his eyes, pulling Ashton to awakeness and cutting the struggle between Ashton and Caius.

Ashton gasped as he opened his eyes and found Luke infront of him. He pulled himself to sit slowly and pulled Luke closer, wrapping his arms around his neck and hugging him tight.

"You okay?" Luke hugged him back.

"I'm sick of this." Ashton rested his head on Luke's shoulder, closing his eyes.

"We'll end this story. Soon,"

"He drowned me." Ashton whispered.

"Where?"

"Here. In the bath. He kept pulling me under the water and I fought to reache out for air."

"And you managed," Luke pulled away to look at him, "You're getting stronger Ashton, that's exactly what we need."

"I don't want to go sleep anymore."

"All we need to do is to find him, and then everything will be through."

"How do we find him?"

"I'll work on it."

"What time is it?" Ashton shoved himself off the bed.

"Almost midnight." Luke walked after him out of the room.
