I took Delilah home while she slept. I simply carried her in my arms as I soared back over the sea. She snuggled into my chest, shying away from the cold wind and I began to fly a little slower, so she wasn't buffeted by the wind too much. I was naturally warm so I probably felt like a heater blanket.

Touching back down at her college campus, I glanced down at her sleeping form. I couldn't see her dreams so maybe she wasn't having any. That would be a first in a long time. Just as I was about to head to her dorms, Michael's voice entered my mind.

You have gone against Gods wishes brothers. This will not be taken lightly. I was afraid, but not for myself. Michael threatened to take Delilah away. I couldn't let him do that. I would just have to convince him it wasn't my idea, that Delilah bound me to her for an hour. But that wouldn't explain why we together for nearly five. I longed for the beach. Where her hands were in my hair and my lips were against her neck.

After returning Delilah to her bed, I found Michael not far away in some tucked away corner of a large park. There was lots of tree cover her, hiding us away from prying eyes. Michael was leaning against a tree, his glorious white wings spread out behind him. I dropped down gracefully onto the ground but he didn't pay me any mind.

"Brother, let me explain." I began.

"Explain how you defiled a Prophet of the Lord?" Michael demanded. "God has eyes everywhere Lucifer. Don't pretend like we didn't see."

"She bound me to her." I argued.

"You are the devil himself, you could have resisted if you wanted to but you didn't."

"Because I love her!" I shouted, unable to help myself.

"Love?" Michael scoffed. "You don't know the meaning." He got up, his sword appearing in his hands. "I hate to do this bother, honestly but you've left me with no choice."

"Please, you've wanted to kill me for a long time now." I replied, reaching out for my own blackened sword. A clap of thunder was heard overhead.

"That's true." Michael nodded his head slowly. "And the day has finally arrived." He moved towards me with lightening fast speed and I moved out of the way almost as quickly, swinging my sword to cut off his head. His blade met mine in a giant clash as rain poured from the sky.

"Don't do this Michael." I urged knocking his blade back. Michael and I began to circle and he cracked a wicked smile.

"Oh but I want to Lucifer. I really, really, want to." When he moved in for another attack, I was able to block it swiftly as the sound of our sword play echoed through the leaves.
