z.m: Long Live the Queen

Zayn wouldn't let me out of his sight. It was a little annoying but.. Comforting at the same time. At least he didn't pretend like he wasn't there. He would sit in my living room or the kitchen and when I'd wake up he'd be right where I left him usually. "You're the King of Hell, couldn't you get some security guard to watch me or something." I asked three days after he had been attacked. He smirked.

"Trying to get rid of me?"

"No, not really. Just curious." He furrowed his eyebrows and licked his lips.

"I don't know who I can trust right now, besides Lev and I would rather do it myself." I didn't reply because that was probably one of the sweetest things he had said so far.

As Zayn had promised with our deal, my mom was all better. I made the doctors do x-rays of her cancer again and told them I felt, "Like something good had happened." They called me crazy but I paid the money for the scans and so they developed them. What they found was, nothing. My mom no longer had cancer. They called it a miracle. I had kissed Zayn for that in front of my mom, which I wish I hadn't done because now she won't stop talking about him.

"Are you and Zayn together? How long have you been seeing each other? How old is he? You're only twenty-two baby." I told her we weren't together, that we were just dating when Zayn "left". She frowned at that and despite saying I was only twenty-two and shouldn't rush things she asked, "Well how come? You two seem very fond of each other."

"We barely know each other momma." I argued, taking her hand. She scoffed.

"Please, I know love when I see it."

"Love!" I exclaimed. "Oh mamma know. We haven't know each other nearly long enough to be in love with each other."

"Doesn't matter. Love happens faster for some people, slower for others." I shook my head at her, no use in arguing anyways. As I was leaving with Zayn, he looked at me with a smirk and said,

"So, when is the wedding date. Seeing as we're in love and all."

"On my god, what did we say about eavesdropping!" I exclaimed, punching him in the chest. Zayn laughed.

The night before my mother would move into my apartment with me was the night Zayn was called away regarding business in Hell. "We're holding a trial for some accused traitors." He had said with a sigh, touching my arm lightly.

"You have trials in Hell?" He gave me this look and I rolled my eyes. "What? I didn't know Hell had order." He smiled lightly.

"I won't be gone long I promise. Don't leave this apartment."

"Sure dad. Whatever you say. I can take care of myself." He slowly pushed me up against the wall in my hallway, staring deep into my eyes. I had never seen him so serious before.

"Don't take this lightly Morgan, okay? You can take care of yourself but you can't fend off 50 demons like I can." I pursed my lips and nodded as he kissed my forehead. "If you don't obey me I'll have to punish you princess." Zayn said with a low laugh. I could tell he meant it to and I felt a little giddy at the prospect.

"I'll stay put. Do I get a reward for that?"

"Hmm.. We'll see." He kissed my cheek and then my lips.
